I've been using this case + protector combo for 3 weeks now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/INCLUDED-PR...IPPING/dp/B004W4IRMI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

My review: THis was always meant to be a temporary cheap protection solution for the phone. Case is better than I thought it would do - fits snugly, not bulky , dust doesn't really gather under it. Rather tough feel compared to more gel like cases. Styling ok; might even end up keeping it. 4/5. Disappointed by the screen protector. Air pockets, smudges easily, doesn't do justice to the screen. 2/5. Will definitely get another one.

Manufacturer branded holders are always built well :p I'm still looking forward to the Exogear clamp arriving though, it is metal so is automatically built well and looks cooler than the manufacturer branded ones :p

mrk, if you've been using the clamp, how are you finding it?

Cheers for the link I think I'll order one of those soon aswell. I don't really notice much difference in the screen quality with this cheap protector on.

Does anyone know if there's a case that comes with a built in kick stand? my previous nokia had one built in and it was dead handy for the car and i even watched a few movies on it without having to hold onto it on a train once. Does such a thing exist?

Dont see the need for screen protector. The thing has gorilla glass its not gonna scratch

Don't be fooled, this does scratch. I've picked up 3 small nicks, one from my cat knocking it on the laminate floor and not sure about the other two, most likely small bits of grit. I never put it in my pocket with anything else and I'm generally very careful.

Hmm so does that mean it's literally impossible to scratch?

Yes, no known materialy ojn this Earth are capable of scratching Gorilla Glass.

It's difficult to scratch, and even a small scratch would look better than a screen protector/case. Unless you value the condition/looks of the phone for it's next owner more than when you have it I really don't see the point.

The phone costs more than some laptops and is much more fragile,a and considering how much unwitting abuse phones can be subject to, protecting them is basic common sense. screen protectors don't ruin the look of the phone and look much better than staring at a scratch day in day out.

I used Autoglym's Extra Gloss Protection and then 2 layers of Collinite 976 on mine and then a Tough Case which is excellent. No screen protector yet and its my first touchscreen phone having switched from BB Bold 9000.

I ordered one of those official Samsung screen protectors, I hope they aren't a pain to apply. The cheap screen protector I've got on is useless, lots of bubbles and I'm sure it's affecting screen quality.
