****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

@mrk - am thinking of getting the extended battery but is it actually worth the cost compared to the potential increase in battery life??

I won't know fully until I am on another ROM as Modaco always uses more battery than other ROMs. I am just waiting for GR6 to see if they fixed it otherwise I will try another ROM.
So far I am on 17hrs with 35% battery left on Modaco GR5, that's with 3G/HSDPA and Wifi enabled at all times with everything in sync (games, social apps etc). Also with videos thrown in and web browsing and emails/sms. That's better performance than what I was getting with the stock battery on GingerMod (and Modaco, of course) before though.

You do know you will have trouble using the touch screen while the phones charging right, unless you use a custom kernal.

I have found it is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be...the real problem is bringing down the notification bar. As i charge my phone at night and it lasts the day it hasnt bothered me too much and i planned to use the custom kernal just haven't had time to get round to doing it!

Definitely worth it though imo

^I'm about to buy that one as I would prefer an all black one over the grey/black combo of my Walnutt one. Will update on how it compares to the Walnutt when it arrives!

Let me know if you decide to get rid of the Walnut :)

Sorry should have mentioned I got it for £11 from the rainforest :)

The neoprene I had for my desire started to get pretty dirty and crease. The leather one I replaced it with still looks brand new.

Why does it not surprise me you have a leather case

I see you have also purchased the same phone as me! I guess if you can't beat them...

Extended battery update!

I have Gmail sync on, Twitter, Samsung account, Whatsapp, Wordfeud, Weather etc.

Impressive battery life of the extended battery is impressive given the regular use and pp syncs!

Also check these bumpers out!

Waiting on my Extended Battery from Mobilefun, ordered on Saturday I think but it's out of stock. Comes in on the 13th according to them.

Yeah Gmarket don't sell them any more, seems it's Thaiwan/Korea local stores only now. GMarket seem to shift stock very quick so if you miss an item then you probably miss it for good!

Update! The cheap eBay Bumper case I posted earlier arrived today and it looks quite good until you pick it up and notice how thin and light it is which kind of goes hand in hand with it's massively small £3 price. It does the job fine on a S2 with the stock battery though but with extended battery the lip surrounding the front bezel is less pronounced.

It is not great with the Zenis dock either as it doesn't sit flush whereas the Zenis one does. I was expecting it to fit fine but the bottom is not sitting nicely like the Walnutt bumper does.

So far I think the Walnutt case looks the best and also feels like it's worth some ££ too. I especially like the lip bearing the Walnutt brand name on the back, it kind of completes an otherwise baron backside, something that the SGP NeoHybrid EX bumper lacks although I'm sure the SGP feels every bit as good and expensive as the Walnutt ones.

Considering the Walnutt bumper is thicker than the cheap eBay one I was surprised it was exactly the same thickness when put on the phone, I put it on my dad's S2 with stock battery to compare in the pics below.

I'm giving the bumper away to anyone who wants it, first come first serve :) I think it's a decent enough bumper case especially given how little it costs but not as useful for those sporting the extended battery.
