****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

Hmmmm how odd Mrk mine broke yesterday just above the power switch. It's the slim metal strip that runs along the side of the screen between the button.

I broke 2 within a fortnight and gave up on them. More or less the exact same problem. It would catch my pocket as i pulled it out and snap. They are very brittle so i went for a more rubbery type.

I might have the only S2 that has had the most knocks ever :p

Still, only a few scuffs on the bezel and not visible unless pixel peeping :p

Picked up an official Samsung dock - very nice finish to it. Got to take the darned phone out of the case to plug it in though, which is annoying!

I got the Zenis one and risked it fitting the Case mate tough case but it doesn't fit. Annoying removing it every time but it makes me realise how nice this phone is without a case. So no case while its in my room :)

I'm sure i'm the only one that doesn't care if my sgs2 gets scratched, i hate cases.. Samsung pour millions into a sleek, polished design, why wrap a £5 bit of rubber round it? :/

The official mesh case is one of the only cases that actually makes the phone look more professional and at the same time adds better grip. It's also more than £4.

Mine is in a case so that it will get a higher resale value near to the Nexus Prime release :p

Mint condition since release!

meh, my last phone was sent to mobilephonexchange for about 20 quid more than they were going on Ebay for.

No nigerian sellers trying to scam me, no ebay fees, no postage fees. It's so much easier.

There is a fair difference in price given at CeX between a grade A and grade C phone. Most of the time it a lot more than recycle websites.

And get over it! some people like to protect their phones with cases :)

See now that's where you're wrong.

I'll use no case when the extended battery arrives though.

i agree, with the case it looks more pro. this is your chance now to go with the unofficial green one i posted a few pages back. would suit your theme very well, and it's lasted longer then the official blue one i had which snapped after a couple weeks.

Hi guys

I'm coming unstuck regarding the dock. I need one that can be mains powered (or via a powered USB hub) and will allow for a case. There are loads for the iPhone where you can just drop it in but I cant find anything for the SGSII.

Anyone got any recommendation?

Use a mains to usb charger to power the dock will solve one of your problems.
