****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

Extended battery installed today.Maybe not so surprisingly the phone is actually more comfortable to hold with the added thickness (even though it's only a slight increase).
It doesn't add much weight to it either so it's still thin and light.

As expected, the mesh case and any other hard case will not fit any more but silicone/gel ones may well fit.

I can confirm the Walnutt bumper case fits perfectly but I'm still deciding if I want to use it or not as it does add extra couple of mm in thickness taking it a shade over 10mm at the thickest end although it does make gripping the phone much easier and protects all edges from impact.

Mobilefun have the extended Galaxy S2 battery in stock again so grab one :D

Will keep the original battery as a spare, I'll nab my dad's kdigi dock which charges phone and battery just to charge the spare from time to time I reckon. I'll update with thoughts on battery life with every day usage after the weekend.

Speaking of docks, the kdigi dual phone + battery charging cradle works fine with the extended battery as does the Zenis and the cheap £5 eBay dock.

The kdigi? Google brings many sites that sell it (and ones liek it from brands like EVO and Anker. The Zenis I got off GMarket but Mobilefun stock them too and they do have others as well.

I have just seen this:

Which I am interested in....looks cool :p

Oh and yes, the Zenis works fine with the case, no reason why it should not but the cheap eBay £5 one does not work with the bumper case as it is too thick. Neither does the kdigi. The Zenis and the one linked above are going to be the only ones that work with cases really.

Hmm comes to £20 off after shipping and conversion. Now I'm not as buzzed as I once was lol.

I need a new dock for my work desk if I am going to use the Walnutt case but certainly not at £20 just for work purposes. Have the Zenis which cost almost £30 at home so that does me fine.

I'll see if they drop in price a bit first I think. Great thing is that one would work on any phone using MicroUSB so those HTCs with ass backwards USB port placement on the side would be just fine :p

I noticed that. The placement means i can use my touchpad on it.

That wont be one bit precarious.

EDIT: Actually I think the TP needs more juice then a single USB can provide.

That's why you just plug the USB lead into the Touchpad charger and leave it there, the same charger will charge everything :p You will probably have to lean the top of the TP against a wall though as it's a heavy beast for such a small dock.

Yeah but what's the bet it will fry the internals of the dock because of cheap component sourcing.

Flaming TouchTourch(tm) anyone?

There is no internals to that dock, it's just a stand with the USB cable that attaches to the recess underneath and acts as the port.

Thinking on it abit.

The Zenis has one advantage in that it has a lower centre of gravity. I would knock the Sinjimoru over every bloody day. Sending the phone skittering over the desk.

That's true, it doesn't look like it has rubber feet either so has the potential to slide as well. With the runber feet docks and those with low centre of gravity you can use the phone easily while docked without moving it.

Finally got my SGP Glas screen protector put on it and its totally amazing i am in love with it....i did however come from a free screen protector i got with a case from ebay that had scratches prior to its application!

My application was ever so slightly off however you cant notice it. If anyone wishes to see afew pictures just ask! Now to replace the case!

You do know you will have trouble using the touch screen while the phones charging right, unless you use a custom kernal.

Ive done a search for this but had no joy, so sorry in advance if its been answered already.

Is there a way to return to your internet home screen without clicking right back to it or opening a new window?
