****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

It looks weird though, like some kind of experiment gone wrong

Lol, ye, I agree. However, I was told "It stays in the same position. You just slot the phone in to whatever shape you have prepared (Once). It is exactly the same as any other mount but has the ability to change shapes and fit in more obscure positions. Once it's in the vent, it stays in position and you don't have to rebend the legs to hold the phone. They're springy enough that you can just "clip" the phone into the prebent legs and it'll hold it perfectly."

Ok, trust email sent.

Sorry to take this thread off topic, but can you give me an email for me to send my address, using Hotmail, I seem to be unable to e-mail the address in your trust. I am constantly told that the message can not be sent.

Hmm, that's weird then, it definitely shows me the correct email address in the trust box that you would see. But I see you've found my MSN so we'll take it from there when you're online.

My Test

So, i purchased the Extended Battery from MobileFun however it is not in stock as of yet so it will be despatched as soon as it comes in :), and i also purchased a 3000mAh emergency battery charger for my Galaxy S2 as winter is coming, and i can see myself being stuck at university with no battery :o

So i planned ahead, charged it yesterday, and took it to my dads, left it in my coat pocket overnight to see how much it discharged (however no indicator on the amount of charge).

Woke up and had 30% battery left as i hadn't used it all night, so after returning to my mums i left it to go to 22% battery as i was on facebook, engadget and taking pictures of mah huskies! OMG OMG!...nvm

Anyway, left it a good couple of hours or so and voila!

Charged up my phone to 98% battery.

Heres some pics of the charger, its slick and well designed, and its small enough to fit into your pocket on your coat or your pants/trousers etc etc.

P.S: Tidying my desk, so the pics will be uploaded as soon as its done, back soon!

Very good service from ultimate-mobiles.co.uk, ordered yesterday and didn't expect it to be here when I got home. :)

Here's some pics I took. Gonna fit it in the car shortly. I like the way the legs come down and recess again if you don't want them there. And I like the white release button on the back. Also, the side clamps aren't big, ugly and obtrusive like many others. A very cool little black and white vent holder which I trust to hold the phone more than many others I checked out.

Somewhere in the last 10~ pages maybe, maybe more!

Vent holders will either freeze the phonee or block a vent making climate control less effective or super heat it in cold weather and i have the vents set to hot air.

A dash disk and suction is all that I need:

Hi,

What dash disk do you use? I need to buy a couple to use with that Nokia mount.

Cheers

Rick

I just ordered a Micro USB to USB Converter hoping it would read ntfs formatted sticks. Apparently it doesnt :(

Its probably mentioned on here but too many pages to read.

Has anyone got any experience of this car mount?

Its a little pricey at £28 but a great phone deserves a great mount no? :p

I've had a look through the thread and seen a few others but this appears to tick all the boxes unless anyone has any other suggestions! (not overly keen on vent mounted due to the hot/cold issue but if its a suction cup one, it must be clamped on firmly and not wobble about!)

Thanks.....

I've got it and use it every day I use the car, it's stable, if you want to the camera is completely unobstructed to use those black box programs, and I really like that the charger and potentially audio sockets just plug into the mount and you don't have to fiddle with them, just chuck the phone in and slid the bottom bit into the phone and job done.

The downside is that, as far as I can tell the audio output through the mount doesn't work on CM7.1, which is one of the reasons I'm thinking of going back to stock samsung rom + cf-root

Thanks! Just the sort of thing I was after!
