Any of you O2 owners like to post the data from Kies? Maybe we can grab the O2 firmware and decrypt it?

My battery performance is OK but nothing spectacular. However I will give it another week or so to see the battery patterns, at the moment my display is destrying the battery, and I have it on almost the lowest brightness with a black background. I've not just let it charge right the way up yet without playing with it the vast majority of the time though. The message that pops up telling you to charge the battery told me to avoid using it while charging as it can result in inefficient charging, so hopefully I'll wear it down by tonight and can set it to charge fully without using it.

Thanks - where should I put my files so that it lists them?

When your connect your phone to your PC via USB and mount the storage, open the drive in My Computer and make a folder with a name of your choosing (eg. "Steves Music"). Copy your songs into this, and when you unmount the storage Android will scan the storage and automatically add all the songs.

I have created the following folders for music and videos:
Episodes & Films
Music
Music Videos

I also have others for various folders for photo collections. All of these are picked up automatically by the stock music and video players as well as the ones I have installed.

Will give this a go.
Thanks

Im 1 day and 7 hours into my battery and have 35% remaing, this was from 48% this morning and 51% before bed last night

Sent about 20 texts today so far, got a few apps and had it on and off to show workmates.

The wifi sharing was hurting me before but i killed it and it hasnt been back, ive removed all hubs since root. Signal at work is patchy which used to kill my desire, this seems better

Happy customer

Did anyone else order this on 3 from buymobilephones.net? I just spoke to them and it could be next week or the week after when handsets are released by Three. They've also reduced their prices on the website, got my pre-order reduced by £40.

They're on the Three website now but their earliest delivery is 13th May.

Ah, does 'root'ing it help the battery much? I haven't done that.

I really don't know what I'm doing with Android. Apart from floundering.
