I failed the credit check for tmobile and affordable mobiles said there is nothing they can even tell me let alone do..

Dont really understand why, not had problems with contracts over the last few years with other networks!

Im going to have to wait for a good deal with a different network. I can't face being with Orange anymore either as im sick of calls not coming through!

I have 2 phones registered with Samsung Dive but none of them show a phone number so I don't know which one is which without looking at call logs, is there some way I can get this to work?

It should work just turn wifi off and it should come on if you are in a good area that is for your provider.

Anyone else having problems connecting this phone to their PC? I plug it in and get the 'device found' sound but then straight after it gives me the 'device disconnected' sound. It still let's me use Mass Storage Mode to let me transfer my music across etc. Strange

Wow 2 days am 23Hrs and 21 mins in and down too 28% this is with just over 2 hours of calls, maybe 25 texts, watched a bit of a film on it, taken some hd video, been tweaking ADW launcher and used maybe 1 hours internet.

That doesn't seem to be working, what settings do you have on in the mobile network settings?

It depends what provider you are with tbh I am currently on T-Mobile what settings do you have set in your Mobile network settings/access point names, if its blank do a google search for your providers apn settings.

Go to Settings then Applications then Development and check USB Debugging.

Think I have a problem with my battery, can't get it to last more then a day!

The phones default firmware has most of these features built in.

Strange, it's working perfectly for me here. Tried it out and showed the exact location of my phone in just a few seconds - I was really impressed.

i saw some chap on another forum said he paid £25 for his, but yet to see them myself, i guess once they are about they will be about a tenner on ebay

Yes I've seen these but £25 seems pricey to me if there under £10 then i would be tempted. With regards to the cable is it a simple cable or does it have some circuitry in in it to do? Just wondering as Nokia have "Nokia Adapter for HDMI CA-156" which is a micro USB to HDMI cable that possible could work and have seen them cheap.

On another note what the best program for converting video files onto the phone?

Eventually got the firmware upgraded using the uk version of Kies 11_3 & phone is running great

Just wondering how to uninstall apps you longer want. I d/l one of the kids & its useless so want to remove but can't seem to get it deleted if I drag n drop to the bin

Some of the system apps will need root access to remove. But if you downloaded it you should be able to get rid of it under settings>applications>manage applications.
