I phoned them and they said they expect stock on Tuesday next week so expect delivery on Wednesday/Thursday depending on what time of day they get the stock and are able to ship it.
 
Supertaff, Thanks for giving me the info that i asked for i know you got a million and things to do but thanks for taking the time and doing it for me cheers.
 
One chap on the P4U forums is getting his phone today, got his confirmation at 11pm for delivery today.


All they can tell me is Your order has been allocated stock and should be sent out today.

My local P4U has stock but won't sell sim free. I'm going to try again just before they close. They may decide to end the day with a sale.

Cheers mate, when did you do your original order? Did mine Saturday and I don't have an email yet, I might ring them up.

So hopefully it will be sent later and I get it tomorrow. I dunno if I live in a 'good' postal area but quoted 3-5 day deliveries nearly always come next day for me so here's hoping.

Dilemma for me now my local store has them in stock and has offered me 1200 mins and unlimited texts and 500mb internet for the same price lol.
 
After others have got their confirmation I'm getting a horrible feeling we might be in the "oh crap we've run out" section of buyers...although that could just be my insane impatience kicking in again.
 
Just read the TechRadar review and its largely positive. Just a few questions to ask hopefully more informed members of this thread.

TechRadar said that the UK models have thier NFC 'disabled' and that 'Enabled' phones would come later. Does anybody know what they mean by this is the NFC hardware still in the phone with a software update required to enable it? or have they removed the hardware completely?

Are there any other sites such as TechRadar with reviews? I'm quite a shrewd purchaser and like to have more than one opinion before I take things further.
 
Am tempted to just go to my local store and pick one up there on contract, wondering if I can trust the online monkeys.

I got the impression that it was removed, but I could be mistaken. I hope someone will confirm soon :)
