Bootloop is a common thing to happen, usually when an installation is done incorrectly. Did you wipe data/factory rest, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, and format /system before flashing the ROM?

If not, do it and it should work :p (boot into recovery by holding vol up + home + power)

Edit: Well it's a no-wipe ROM so you shouldn't need to factory rest or format /system, I think. But you should wipe cache and dalvik anyway. Can someone clarify?
 
Just tried it again, after wiping everything and after about 2-3 minutes sitting on the boot screen again, it started up. Just hoping that it was a 1 off delay :p
 
Hmm, so, its working now. However, Google market keeps timing out when I try and search or view my apps. Have I missed something, or is it just bad timing? :rolleyes:

EDIT: Seems my data connection isnt working either...help again? And I wondered why I was hesitant about trying this... :p

*facepalm* It helps when you update your APN, it seems...epic fail! :D

Litening Rom 2.5 is nice but battery life isnt good for me. Is it just a case of changing the Siyah v3.0b7 kernal ??

The one that was with LP7 was great.


*edit* found XXLPQ kernal in the lrtoolbox and flashed that.

*edit #2* Gone back to LP7 setup. LR 2.5 was nice but just didnt feel the same as LP7, think Ive been spoilt.

I've installed LP7, liking it so far. :) How do I get the blue/black theme ICS that other people seem to have? I tried to install the theme from the link below, but it gave me a boot loop. Is it because my version of android is 4.0.3, and the one for LP7 in this thread is for 4.0.5? If somebody could help me get it working, that'd be great. :)

As mentioned above it doesn't look like domination 4.1 is for LP7 , so you'll either have to flash domination 4.0.5 or flash the stock de-odexed LP3 and 4.1.
 
lp3 is newer than lp7,might be why ICS domination 4.1 dropped lp7 support, although that doesnt explain why it works on lp2/lpq. I know litepro skipped lp7 with litening rom but i think that was something to do with the lack of multi language support in lp7 so probably not released.

Well I have updated to LP2 today from LP7 and all fine thus far.

I did a cache and dalvik wipe before upgrading and then installed lp7 modem and flashed ICS Domination 4.1.

No more black on black dialogue boxes are a massive plus!

So much Samsung **** to remove using Titanium though but the brilliant thing is that Titanium shows newly installed apps at the top on first run each tim so you don't spend ages scrolling around.

Anyone got a link to the home button lag fix zip at all?

Feeling so used right now. Guy on XDA offered to host the files for free on his server after the multiupload takedown by the yanks and now all of a sudden he wants to make money off it to "cover the cost of running his server". I'm gonna move all the files to a many of the free hosting services available. Guess I needed to vent a bit. </Rant>
 
Ok I'm sold on ics finally, now running wanamlite 10.3 lp3 based with domination 4.1

Looks stunning, runs like a charm.

Had been on Checkrom 6 up until now, won't be going back.
 
With Domination 4.1 I've noticed new bugs with white on white text issues with some dialogue.

Example, open messaging, click a contact avatar and then rotate the screen so the bg elements go white, now the text is white too...

Otherwise... Excellent!
