***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Sorry I meant to say white ones. I think I'll prefer the white over the blue anyway, so it's just a case of where can I buy it in order to get it asap :p

Depends on where you live, if your in east london or even london area, i was told today by a Samsung rep at the Westfield Stratford store that they have about 30 white models left to sell.

Otherwise your best bet is trying CPW or somewhere online. Dont know if the Samsung pop up store in Westfield Shepherds Bush have any to sell though.

Bah, bloody shops!

Took a trip into festival place on the way home to see how the white ones look, turns out I quite like them. Turns out that CPW have no stock, and Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and 3 all won't sell them SIM free.

Phones 4 U had stock, but want £600 for it, whereas everywhere else wants £500. Great... Apparently they can't budge, at all, on the price, and can only offer me a case as a freebie to make it worth it. Not really worth £100 for a case though! :@

And to make things worse... I got rick rolled by radio 2 on the way home while flicking through the stations!

So if anybody knows somewhere with stock near Basingstoke, let me know! :)

Hi guys. Left my phone on charge for a few hours last night and today I've been messing about setting it up similar to my S2. The battery is showing 25% with 17hrs 27m on battery with screen time on 4hrs 17 mins....I don't know how to do screen capture. Been downloading apps, taking photos and Wifi has been on all day.

Everything is running smooth. Still not sure it is recognising my face (weird or not) all the time on smart stay, but just tested it reading a book on Kindle and the page stayed illuminated.

Taking photos is much quicker on the S3. I'm puzzled why after taking a photo it is displayed quite dimly but after touching the screen it gets brighter. Must be one of the settings but haven't figured it out yet.

I used the same settings in both phones. 3264x2448, Superfine, auto flash (which didn't go off), anti shake, centre weighted, single shot. I don't see much difference, maybe slightly different colour in second shot.

Yeah, it's quite a bit nicer than the white I have to say.

And looking at the pics and the ones i have seen in person, the led light isnt so washed out as it is on the white one. I probably would have gone for the white one had the led had its own little window but from what i saw of it, it seems to sit behind the white fascia and therefore doesnt look bright at all :/

So want one of these, being ill and working from home the last few months, haven't been chinning enough minutes. Orange are wanting £90 up front then £24p/m.

Might just wait it out a month or so.

For me that just looks tacky. I haven't liked it since I laid eyes on it and just goes to show how subjective the colour choice is.

That's surprising given your natural affection for the colour blue! :D

You definitely should, cost about the same as this phone and much better value in my opinion....you get years of fun if looked after! She's pretty affectionate too now she's a couple of years old.

:p

I looked at one once, it didn't have an expansion slot so I left it at that, S3 for me.

Nice cat, fur defo looks better in the S3 pics:cool::cool:

Quick question. Which one of them captures the colour of your carpet the best?
