***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Yeah there is no screen bleed, the screen is perfect, it's AMOLED. The picture is to show the bleed around the buttons and notification LED.

Yep I see what you mean. I previously thought you meant the LED lights leaked such that it went out and lit the screen.

apps copy/move to internal memory - not external sd card.

Thanks Kona, I thought they were stored to internal memory by default ?
My S2 using ICS 4.03 would give me the option to move apps and games to the sd card, S3 doesn't have the same option ?
I will try what you said, thanks mate.

That's pretty much the extend of the LED bleed through on the notifier and button lights. Obviously the photo is shot in the dark but the bleed is visible indoors under normal room lighting as well.

Note the blackness of the screen itself, AMOLED FTW :)

Cheers! It's kind of hard to see how potent it is, but I can imagine what it looks like.

I think I'll have a look at the white one, but I'm almost definitely going to wait for the blue. I actually quite like the look of it in non-outdoor conditions (where it looks darker), and I pay more attention to such things when inside!

Yup, what browser do you want me to test it with because in desktop mode on the stock browser iPlayer's website says the phone is not yet supported.

try it in ICS+ Browser desktop agent. I just tried it on the S2 and it stutter quite badly.

Very surprised that they are still in stock at CPW....i thought this had a ridiculous amount of pre-orders and was the most sought after smart phone in history?

apps are stored on the 2GB partition by default - then if you move to sd it transfers what it can to the other bigger partition of internal memory.

Are you talking about the additinal data download for big games like GTA? They normally download to internal memory too.

Guess Samsung decided to make enough for pre orders rather than create false demand by not manufacturing enough like a certain fruit themed toymaker...

I think the blue one is a lot more popular and normal people are quite happy to wait a couple of weeks! :p

Just tried and iPlayer HD streams play but stutter. I tried it on my (new, lol) S2 as well and it stutters there.
