***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

I downloaded the latest flash player from the store when I got the phone.

Any chance you could try something like demand five on both phones? Cheers

all others work on both fine as they are all in sd, the bbc iplayer desktop you got a option to view the HD version, which looks amazing on the htc one x which is smooth ,

Is there anyway to get SkyGo to output through the HDMI on the S3?

I used to have an iP4 and once it was jailbroken I downloaded an app called TVout2 to basically output the screen onto the TV.

Unfortunately Sky Go is blocked from any device using Ice Cream Sandwich (and Honeycomb). There are some messy work arounds which are very much hit and miss.

Sky basically don't care about Android. Just look at how long they took to get it out for Froyo.

Well I still cannot get any apps or games to transfer to the sd card, I have tried my old sd card from my S2 which I know worked.
I am stumped, has anyone managed to transfer anything apart from their contacts to their sd card ?

That's annoying... Is there any reason Sky have that stance?

Your guess is as good as mine.

I think they are really scared that streams will be ripped on an open Android system. So they overdo the testing phase which does each device individually.

The streams are easily ripped from their satellite streams and so I don't really see why they care.

Another theory people come up with is that like a lot of media companies simply prefer the iOS system and want it to succeed.

Sky Go is currently a mess anyway. I currently have this problem even though I haven't made any changes to devices.

People being told to wait till the end of the month, luckily not long to wait.

I've transferred photos from the phone to the external SD card via My Files.

I've been using Sky Go for ages on my rooted Galaxy Note which is running ICS. It works fine. I'm using the SkyGo test file that was uploaded on xda.

Here is an apk for SkyGO. Let me know if it works with the S3 since I don't have one to test it with: http://d-h.st/bOK

Doesn't work on rooted device so if rooted use something like Vodoo OTA Rootkeeper to temp unroot and disable SuperUser (Easy if using SuperSU).

Blocked nope :p Removed form Play Store yes ;)

The official app looks at what device you are using. The app on xda works for some and not on others.

The best way to get it to work is to change the device id.

The one above should work for most. I downloaded one of the ones from XDA and changed it a bit as my mate wanted SkyGo on his Xperia Arc. This has now worked on multiple device including now the SIII without the need to change device id.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I'm hoping it works on Honeycomb.

It installs on my temp unrooted Asus TF300T Pad but keep getting failed to download when I open a channel?

Error 9 Unrooted and 10 Rooted

apps copy/move to internal memory - not external sd card.

That's pretty much the extend of the LED bleed through on the notifier and button lights. Obviously the photo is shot in the dark but the bleed is visible indoors under normal room lighting as well.

Note the blackness of the screen itself, AMOLED FTW :)

Yeah there is no screen bleed, the screen is perfect, it's AMOLED. The picture is to show the bleed around the buttons and notification LED.

This is one of the reasons why I won't ever have a white phone.
