I don't think kernel sources are required to mod the launcher but yes, like the custom ROMs on the S2, TW Launcher mods will almost certainly be out.

Settings > Security > Enable With swipe lock > Lock screen options > Enable shortcuts > Shortcuts > Add or remove whatever shortcuts you want.

CPW sell it for £499 SIM free. Most phones I know sold from the operators' own stores are branded and locked.

ok. if i can get this for £200 is it still a worthwhile upgrade from the S2? i ask as i was also looking at a note. i want the bigger screen. Any rumours yet about a note 2?

Given that a standard smartphone screen can be bought for around £35 I imagine an entire screen replacement for the S3 might cost up to £100 given the nature of it...maybe.

At least one thing is for sure, unlike other phones, when you replace the S3 screen, you know you won't get dust between the front glass and the screen itself!

The S2, Nexus and Note all have screens that are fused to the LCD so no dust there either?
 
Guys im in dire need of motivation... GET WHITE OR WAIT FOR BLUE? Heh I can go pick a white up today, and im desperate for a new phone. Just wondering if white will mark or look scruffy after a month of being in the pocket.

just received my Pebble Blue version a few minutes ago, really excited, didn't know they started shipping them now. Hope you guys receive yours soon.
