***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

No, dynamic is even more saturated than standard! If you don't watch video you probably wouldn't notice. I find more saturation can actually look better for other things (well, photos are heavily over-saturated, but with nothing to compare to you might not notice too much), and it's especially nice for displaying a really vibrant looking home-screen. It's just completely horrible for video (imho).

I think I'm finding something a little bit similar in that switching back now I also think all the other modes look wrong. I guess I'm getting used to the natural mode display, but for me I still feel it's washed-out outside of video or photo viewing.

Perhaps it's just a matter of my vision adjusting after initially getting used to (and being wowwed by) the lively, saturated display out of the box.

I hope so anyway, because now I'm at the stage where no display setting actually looks good to my eyes... :(

I noticed the same thing. It needs a setting between natural and standard.

What I have noticed is that my eyes have adjusted to natural pretty quickly, the trick is to change the bubble colour in messaging. That's the only place that looks overly washed out.

Ah, yeah. The brighter yellow bubble for received texts does look much better. Cheers for that tip.

I do still find my clock/battery indicator and some other widgets (like Springpad and PureGridCalendar) look a bit washed-out, but I think I'm getting more used to the natural mode display each day.

Guys

Someone on here did a root instruction list? Can anyone link me I'm damned if I can find it

Want to use Titanium backup as I have a 32gb SD coming tomorrow :D

Thanks

Quick question do you have to use Odin to flash back to a stock samsung rom? Odd that all the instructions say so but to go to something like Cyanogen you use recovery. Thinking of going back to stock so i can get Sky Go working.

Anyone using CM10 at the minute.

I've used the new nightlies briefly but reverted back to CM9. I can't see any advantages of using CM10 over CM9, only disadvantages.

I'm quite a heavy user and the memory leak issues is making me having to reboot 2-3 times a day. Quick ICS browser doesn't work fully with JB (no text flow). V-sync issue, no full screen video unless I install another app.

Once Samsung releases the JB kernel source I'll go back to CM10.

I hate that kind of answer....:(

"Coming soon" could mean hours/ days/ weeks/ months/ years

I hear Half-life 3 is also coming soon...:D

From the amount of leaks and the fact the latest ones are practically fault free I imagine we're looking at days rather than years you big drama llama :p

This I have done the same. People can say what they want, but it is nowhere near stable enough right now. On the other hand, CM9 is proving to be absolutely fine. The only issue I have is with the YouTube app playing up; videos are aligning themselves at the top of the screen in portrait mode, meaning that top of the video is covered!
