Hold the button on the side and press power off...the battery should last ages :p

But general tips for 'actually' increasing your battery life during usage would be:

-Turn screen brightness down when you dont need it bright (i.e. outside)
-Turning off things like wi-fi or mobile data when not being used can help
-Screen timeout can be changed also to turn the S3's screen off sooner rather than keep it on for a short while first.
-Also reduce the phones ability to sync so often, the more often it syncs the more it will drain
-You could look at trying a different rom, I've heard some roms have better battery life than stock.
-In the settings menu there are some 'Power saving' options which you could also look at activating.
 
people who has a 64gb card class 10 and is it a good one, model please :-)

Anyone recommend a car holder? Air vent mount or suction cup ok but must be decent quality, last time I bought a cheap one the phone and holder fell off the window after 2 minutes!
 
Just got myself a white with a 64gb sd card for £300.

Coming from an S2 so what should I be looking at regarding ROMs.

I'm a fan of stability and excellent battery life....

I assume I should goto wanam?
 
I've given up with the leaks, too many every day to keep ont op all teh time so just waiting for the final.

ICS is giving me epic battery life for now though, Wanamlite 2.3 with stock kernel.

Ive not even bothered with any custom roms yet, stock Samsung ICS is good enough for me at the moment, massive difference from my old Xperia which needed custom roms and overclocked kernals just to do normal day to day tasks without crapping itself hehe

Im hoping JB will be the same story and from reading about the leaks it should be. And if various places are to be believed could be Wednesday or Friday for a full OTA release, but i doubt it.
