It wont go into recovery, presumably because it has the stock ROM on now and lost cwm.

Ebay must have killed a few phones today I reckon. Mine froze when android os started but cwm still worked so easy fix

Yeh it's about 500mb i think. Just do a full wipe in clockwork mod, wipe cache and dalvik too. Then just flash and restore with titanium
Used the Dev wipe and titanium wouldn't find my card to restore

Just got a S3 after the Carphonewarehouse lost my Galaxy Nexus when it was sent off for repiar. Now I've never seen a warranty without wanting to void it. So what is the best ROM for this phone? I would prefer Jellybean based but will live with ICS if necessary.

I don't know if you found one already, but when I ordered mine from three, I phoned them at ~4:30pm and it arrived at 10:20am the following day
Not sure of their buy-outright prices for the handsets though, probably more than you'd like (definitely more than I'd like!)

Whilst your here how do I wipe and get checksum on correctly?
I used rev wipe but it didn't then allow a titanium restore so had to go back
Just need to know how to add that wipe to my extsd card I suppose

Whilst in CWM, choose 'full wipe/factory reset', then wipe cache, then go to advance and wipe dalvik cache. Now just install zip from SD card and find the Checkrom zip
