I have not, bought the phone in August for £360. Not really sure how the crack happened to be honest. . Yeah, I will just keep the phone in a silicone case for now to stop the glass bits coming off completely. Will keep it for a while me thinks, unless you can get much from these phone recycling companies?

Edit: looks like any crack on the glass would make it a much lower value than a pristine phone, oh well!

Im so lost without my S3 :( cant wait to get it back, still not heard anything from them but they did say it could take 2 weeks, so the 19th there abouts, i hope they have actually changed things inside it rather than reset it and all that stuff, hope i dont get fobbed off with the 'water damage' line, i explained to the guy, that if there is water damage i want hi-res colour pictures, with my IMEI to prove its my handset, this was written on the repair sheet aswell.

I've tried a few ROMs, RootBox, CM and Android Revolution HD... not sure which I prefer. They all have their quirks - I'm mainly after functionality and battery life and speed. I quite like the idea of Pure Android rom - but you cannot save pictures from the camera to the SD Card :(
 
Yay got my phone back this morning, they havent changed anything hardware related, all they have done according to the check sheet is reload the software, yet the phone died, so how they did that i have no idea...anyway they put it back to XXELLA, so will update later to whatever is new MB something or other...im just happy that i have it back.

Charging at full tilt aswell, been plugged in for 55 mins and its gone up 30% so whatever they did, they brought it back from the dead and resolved the charging issue i had for now at least.

I've just seen! Wasn't available the other week when I looked had been on arriving soon for weeks.
Little buggers didn't email me to tell me it was in stock either :( Oh well just found it elsewhere for under £35 :D

Try Temaseks CM10.1 rom :)

He builds from CM source, but has done some nice tweaks (including external camera storage).

There is something wrong with my charging...

Battery was down to 5%, and its been plugged in charging for about 8 hours, no wifi or data turned on, screen been totally off, and its only got to 54%?

This is not the only time, recently it has been charging veryyyyyy slow, even when its charging and im just viewing a website the battery will go down...not sure what's changed?
