Yodel for me in NI from E-global. The Snapdragon version they sell is the Hong Kong model - Hong Kong have the same plugs as the UK so no need for an adaptor. The hard case that comes with it as a bit naff, so I bought a Spigen Liquid Air case for mine and couldn't be happier.
Read the last couple of pages?Any case recommendations?
Generally I would recommend anything by Spigen - there's plenty of range so you'll find something you want be it a slim case or a full on bumper case. The Spigen Liquid Air is very popular these days and I had one for my 6T - will likely buy another for this eventually.Any case recommendations?
@mrk did you get a case on your S10e?
Samsung Pay in the UK doesn't have the mag strip emulation, probably because it's not needed and most card readers in the UK won't accept a swiped card anyway. The one advantage to Samsung Pay is that it can mimic the magnetic strip on your card (don't ask me how! ) but what this allows you to do is effectively use contactless even at establishments that don't have contacless terminals. However in my experience any places around me that have card machines have contactless ones so it's a moot point for me anyway.
Any thoughts yet on the buds? I will probably upgrade to the S10 soon but only when I can get the buds to go with it.
That would explain why I'd never heard about it until 2 days ago. Can definitely understand it's use in the US mind you. It boggles the mind how they are still signing for credit cards over there, not even chip and pin!Samsung Pay in the UK doesn't have the mag strip emulation, probably because it's not needed and most card readers in the UK won't accept a swiped card anyway.
Yeah it showed my tracking there even when it hit the UK. There was also a link to Yodel Tracking from the13ten site even before it arrived with Yodel
Quick question, can you quick swipe through the recent apps carousel on One UI/S10? On my Pixel and my OnePlus (both on Pie) I was able to make one quick swipe to left or right and skim through all my recent apps. On this it just skips to one app on either side meaning if I want to get to my left most recent app I have to swipe left several times. I'm nearly sure I saw a clip in a YouTube video where this was possible. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
That still didn't work but the mystery has now been solved! I had reduce animations enabledYeah drag from the middle navigation button in the rightr direction and then you can scroll left and right to cycle through apps. Very similar to the Pixel implementation if not exactly the same (I had a Pixel 3 previously).
Really,? Maybe I'm just used to the movement of it but I've got reduced animations on and it seems to with fine. Ah well at least it's working now. That still didn't work but the mystery has now been solved! I had reduce animations enabled
I knew something had to be wrong somewhere, I'm fairly well versed with technology.
Thanks anyway!
