**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

Hope mine turn up I've not even had a update.

> Claim validated on 10th Feb

I would wait if you can I had a s8 and it was just worth the upgrade for the price.
Hopefully you'll get an email/text this week if they match my timings.

It’s so bad. I sent mine in for a ‘24hr’ repair and being realistic I allowed a day’s transport either side so thought I’d have it back in 3 maybe 4 days tops - it was gone for 8 days in total.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a quick turn around. Luckily I've got other phones I can use.

Also they said they couldn't repair it if a pin was active, which It is and obviously with a power issue I can't remove it now either. They asked for it and told them where to go - hardware issue, establish a charge/boot up to lock screen and send back.

Although thinking about it I guess it could be software related .

Has anyone recently ordered direct from Samsung - and delivery has been......rather slow?
I ordered an S21, 256GB, Grey back on Saturday 27th Feb. As of this morning the order is still at "Order Placed".
The Watch 3 I ordered at the same time arrived on the Tuesday after the order - however not using it as me keeping it depends on me keeping the phone (I cannot return the phone without also returning the watch).

I cannot for the life of me see what I've ordered as a particularly rare combination. My last communication with the store was last Friday when I was told "No stock at the moment, should be next week" - which it obviously hasn't been.

S21 Ultra 256gb, currently Samsung are offering

£350 instead of £210 trade-in for my s10+ (trade in sites are around 210)
15% off until Sunday

So that makes it £721 + my S10 Plus, this feels like a decent deal? No free buds or anything. If we assume my s10 is worth 200, and thus this is the same as £921, how does this stack against previous deals you guys have seen?

Thanks!

I would say its a decent deal.

Finally got my free buds and tag today, I had no email update and Samsung site tracker has not been updated since the 24th.
Just had a email today from yodel a parcel was getting delivered.

After waiting so long I'm not as excited about them as I was before so now I'm not sure if I should keep them or sell them and put the money towards the bill depending on the worth, I have no real use for the tag and I prefer using headphone, originally I wanted to give the buds a try and see how I found them.

AO.com actually had 15% off too, with £360 trade-in through Samsung, but because the trade-in is retrospective instead of deducted from the headline price before it's discounted, it ends up cheaper (the 15% is applied to the £1199 instead of the £849). So the final cost ends up £660 instead of £720. I think that's OK! Also, it'll be delivered 2 weeks earlier than Samsung.

even better, I went with contact because I did not want to drop £1000+ in one go, considering I had nothing to trade in, So ive not really looked at sim free price

Just seen the Amazon deal. 15% off with a further £300 trade in for my Note 10+ 5G and an extra £150 cashback. Can spread the payments too.

£860 with discount for the 256GB comes down to £410 with tradein and cashback.

Looks good to me.

What's the extra £150 cashback?!

£860? It's showing as £1020 for me, and what's the extra £150 cashback??
