**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Family Thread ****

I like the way you can take out the pen and scribble a quick note on the screen and save it. I would have found that quite useful in the past. I have loads of scraps of paper with notes written on for various things. The pen might be quite useful after all.

Its a very useful device I've been using it since Note 3 , great in last 2 notes as you can use the Spen for remote camera use

Well I've ordered a 256gb in phantom black.

My first Samsung since having an S7 Edge and vowing I would never by a Samsung mobile ever again. Mainly because of pure hatred of TouchWiz and having to use custom ROMs. But I guess things change and OneUI looks sort of alright.

We'll see how I get on with it for a bit.

£360 for a OP 7T Pro too is ridiculous so hard to pas on that.

went to my local samsung store in Westfield and placed a order with a refundable deposit for the S22 ultra 256gb black. No value was given on my S21+ 256gb until collection day on 22nd. I expect it will be what samsung offer online which is £560 and the reason for me going to the the store is to get the Amex samsung in-store extra offer of £250. Total price would then be £439 :)

isn't the amex offer 10% up to £250, not £250 flat cashback?

Correct, to make the cashback worthwhile you need to pay off the full outstanding balance and not a small deposit, otherwise the cashback will be applied to the deposit amount. So the max I can get back is £57 (10% of £570 after trade in)

I may have taken CPW up on that offer... phone is sat gathering dust.

Just ordered an S22 5G 256 in Graphite for my bro in law, he has paid me of course but said I can keep any cashback and I earn 5209 Samsung reward points in my account so a nice little incentive :p

Graphite Bros.

How are you getting that price? The 100GB deal for the 256GB Ultra is £72 with trade in? With your 20% that brings it to £57.60? Unless I'm missing something...

Last night that deal was listed as being £62.40 with trade in, not including my 20% off.

They tried to call today but couldn't take the call as was in work.

Those doing contracts, are you not concerned about the 9.3% rises, probably twice over the course of the contract?

https://www.pcmag.com/news/exclusive-samsungs-galaxy-s22-is-a-low-signal-beast Very good to see that although it is on the SD variant so wondering if the Exynos 2200 has the same feature.

The biggest and worst issue I had with the S20 Ultra was dropping calls. It would switch into Wifi calling and drop calls during the swap. I found disabling wireless dialling finally fixed the problem. It might have improved with software updates but I never re-enabled the feature.

My N20U still does that which is basically the S20U so expected canbe a right pia as the mobile signal crap in my house and it connect with 1 bar and boot me off a wifi call

I'm not sure the Exynos 2200 will have that feature, when checking out specs earlier in the week it was saying Qualcomm had a new modem to bring to the table.
I always have low signal at work with my Note 20 ultra which is strange but at home it's better and I can tell with the battery consumption.
I hope the Exynos 2200 is better.

Bit the bullet and ordered the black S22 Ultra 512GB, looking back at the promo deals last year it seemed to be the sweet spot with code stacking. Used a 10% discount code, £310 for a trade in on my old phone, quidco £50 offer (hopefully), and will see the freebies. Still going to wait for the battery life and camera performance reviews, but may just cancel or return depending what pans out. Hoping the E2200 isn't complete trash compared to the SD

So, I'm trying to order mine using Samsung Finance, just an S22 256GB Graphite, but the Samsung Finance page just wont seem to process the application. Constant "Please Wait. We are checking your details". Anyone else had similar issues or experience? Is it just a waiting game? FAOD - should be no issues with the credit application itself, which makes this all the more confusing.

Disable any adblocker or use another browser. The Samsung site can be iffy in general really.

Anyone after the Ultra in Green, out of stock on all memory sizes at the moment, glad I got my order in. Now just hoping its not a lemon!
