Ooo mine too! 17/03 for mine but it's always said that, ordered on 17/02.
We'll probably get ours on the same day!

Ugreen 25w charger, Ringke matt clear case and Amfilm protectors waiting! (Wanted the EGV ones but oh well they're probably all the same anyway!)

Well last night I dropped my SIM back into my S21u to return the S22u today and the first thing I noticed is signal strength.

The S21 is getting 3-4 bars of 5g, I had to actually turn 5g off on the S22 while at home because it constantly dropped in and out and call quality was awful because of it.

I'd say I'm happy I returned mine and stuck with my touch wood problem free Pixel 6 Pro but that'll have to wait until they no longer have both my phone and hundreds of pounds of my money.

I'm happy with keeping the S20 5G another year as I have no issues with it, just the nice design an cameras of the S22 Ultra was very appealing! Maybe all this will blow over in a year and Samsung will have changed their source code or whatever. Maybe I might see what the Pixel 7 is like even.

I've been stewing over what to replace my aging S10 with - the sensible S22 option, the '**** it' option of an S22U (or an S21U for a slightly more reasonable price) or ditch Samsung and try a Pixel 6 Pro. Starting to lean a bit closer to the Pixel 6 Pro now.

I'm going from an S10+ to an S22U - with the trade in values as they were for launch, it was a no brainer as I couldn't get close to £370 for my S10+ anywhere else. It makes sense to keep the order regardless now and then just sell the S22U if it's a dog further down the line as that will be a considerable amount towards say an iPhone 14 or Pixel 7 Pro. I've been waiting a while though having skipped the S20 and S21 stage and there isn't really much else other than iPhone or Pixel 6P that ticks the box for me and even the Pixel 6 Pro has been plagued with bugs for many.

As much as I don't like the Apple ecosystem, if the S22U turns out to be a lemon, it may be what forces me back down the iPhone route. If they lock my phone as a result of a screwed up trade in then regardless I'll be ditching them for Apple as I rely on my phone for work.

There are good and bad reports on the S22 Ultra right now and im not making judgement until I've tried mine, for me it's simple, if it doesn't perform the way I like it will get returned.

That's an interesting point, with the trade in discounts etc, selling the S22u, especially a 512GB Graphite, would still gain quite a bit of money back I imagine so can then move over to something else if it turns out not that great.

That's definitely now my train of thought - I came close to cancelling a couple of times after the bugs were shown but to be honest my S10+ at best is going to be worth £160 - in reality I'll still be able to get £700-800 for the S22U 512GB by the time the iPhone 14 comes out so that's a damn site better than putting my S10+ against an iPhone 14.

Looks like they finally found it hiding in their warehouse somewhere so I can now happily say I'm glad I stuck with the pixel.
