Nothing stopping you from selling them as sealed and new on marketplace etc. I think all that sticker means is a store cannot sell them as retail buds.

My delivery is dated 14th, I have been on live chat and Samsung twitter for confirmation that it will be delivered on time and both said I will hear from DPD by this evening for tomorrow delivery slot, of course I cannot argue because its not tomorrow yet but the chances of receiving it tomorrow are as rare as hens teeth by looking at a lot of reports.
 
Man the portrait mode is on point. Accuracy around edges is much better than the S20. Shame you are limited to wide or 3x zoom when shooting portrait mode though.

The bokeh is also more natural, there's falloff like you would expect from natural optical bokeh.
 
I have not had a chance to try Expert RAW properly yet as am waiting for a London city day/night photography walkabout in a few weeks, but for normal mode I am finding that Lightroom produces slightly cleaner results off the photos on this phone than what I had with the S20 so far.

There are still a few things that are slightly annoying to see have not been upgraded from the S20 like not being able to switch lenses when recording in 4K 60fps, you can choose the lenses, but once you start recording you are stuck with that lens. As a result I use 1080p 60fps as that works fine switching lenses and is actually smoother/cleaner and focusing is faster.

Overall a marked improvement especially for sharpness and AI improved portrait mode. I expect many more improvements will be seen in months to come with updates but so far so good.

The edge display where the screen curves off the edge, some initial reviews said it was annoying and they didn't like it. I have noticed no issue at all and until now I had not even noticed that it wasn't a completely flat display. An issue hyped up to add controversy in a review I guess.
 
I am rather enjoying the phone! and pictures it takes are great as I really wanted something on hand that take decent images.

Today I am so far sitting at 46% with 3hours 20mins screen time and I unplugged around 8am today.

Mon-Fri will be the real test as I am away in London so see if it lasts the day with using maps/pictures etc :)
 
Yup I'd say for me it has met expectations. Without the £440 trade in deal I would not have gone for this and stayed with the S20 5G though I think.

Hmm I'm not seeing the 450MB update on mine! Version number?
 
Anyone had the custom colours come in yet? Red specifically? My red was supposed to come on 15th but that's a day away now and it's still stuck on "customisation complete" so not even heading out yet. I guess the chances of it arriving on time are slim unless it's just a delay on their system...

So my Red S22 Ultra was due tomorrow and usually I would get a DPD notification the day before but not this time. The initial order said 4 weeks which passed 4 days ago.
I'm guessing we'll probably all get them the same time because a lot of people have already gone past their delivery date.
Not sure what's going on at the minute but it would be nice to get some communication from them either way.
 
The EGV screen protectors came back into stock briefly yesterday. I'm not quite sure how long the flexible screen protectors are going to last compared to glass ones, so thought it best to stock up, and bought another set of them :D

My red one was supposed to come same time, it in fact stills says delivers from the 12th but I got a text saying it was delayed until the 24th I think.
 
Gotta say the back panel being so satin finished is rather nice feeling, and no smudges/prints at all. Reminds me of the Xperia Z5 back in the day which has a frosted glass back, the S22 doesn't feel as nice as that did, but it's damn close. That and the satine/matte frame which feels/looks just as nice too. Photos of it don't do it justice really. Those that have exclusive colours coming soon are in for a treat.
 
New firmware available. Not coming through for me... so using my sammobile subscription and downloading it from them to flash via Odin...

The phones due to go back when ever they have stock, so will at least be a trial run to see if new firmware fixes it.
 
For the Disney+ primo, I clicked on redeem but didn't add an email. I went back and clicked redeem and it says already been redeemed but also asks for email. Is the code still active or not?
 
Ordered my S22 ultra 256gb today, got a pretty sweet deal. $500 off the $2099 rrp here in NZ, then a $400 giftcard for Harvey Norman (equivalent of currys I guess, but sells higher end components), out of stock at the moment though. Looking forward to having a proper play with it.
