**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Family Thread ****

Trying to change my order and go for the 512GB as I’m off work until Monday and be nice to have a play around with it and it’s £5 more a month than I would be paying for 256gb so that’s £68 a month for 512GB unlimited calls, txts and 100Gb data although for £70 I could upgrade every year with the 256GB decisions decisions
Leave it how it is ;)

If you don't need the extra storage. Come selling time you won't really get any extra for a 512 Vs a 256. £120 extra over 2 years plus RPI next year.

Mines still not been collected by DPD...Come ooooooon!

Just rang them they said my 256GB has already been picked so if I wanted 512GB I would have to return the 256GB first I said its ok I just wanted to change thinking I might get it sooner

I said I wanted to check that my hill would not be going up he said it would but I told him I was told it wouldn't by the person I was speaking to so they are going to check a recording of the call to see if he did say that otherwise I be paying £63.40 but 9.3% increase as of April.
I can get the phone with 3 for £63.40 with no price increase so I will have to think about that

Thank you kept it as it is but if I have to pay an increase of 9.2% I think I might return it and stay with them sim only and get phone from smasung 0% interest and can upgrade every 12 months if I wish. He said potentially I could have it by the weekend.
I understand they can't say because if it doesn't arrive people ring in to complain but if it's been picked you would think I get it next day once it's sent out

The white and burgundy 512GB models of the s22 ultra are now showing as 'usually despatched within 1 day', on the EE website. Earlier today it was showing as 7 days and 14 days...

I saw that which is why I gave them a ring but they said my phone that I ordered last week has been picked so I would need to return that first.

If its been picked do you guys think it would come by Saturday?
256GB is £1249 and 512GB is £1329, thats price difference of £80. £5/per month for 24 months is £120.

Sorry it might have been £3 difference I couldn't remember but knew it was around £5. Have you guys taken insurance out agaisnt the phone?

Was it EE,

On their site it does say
For customers joining in March 2022 the first increase of your monthly plan price will take place on or after 31st March 2023. All other charges will increase on or after 31st March 2022 and then annually. See ee.co.uk/increase for details.

So you might be safe with your deal! And hopefully getting it tomorrow?!

Also how come your current deal and an offer with 3 are identically priced?

Thank you for that. I will get a call within 72 hours I was told and they will listen to the call to check I was told that I wouldn't pay an increase for the first 12 months as I joined before April. If no joy I can show them what you posted from their website so hopefully I should be OK. I might even insure the phone as well as get screen protector and case

I read a review the other day from T3 website on the phone https://www.t3.com/reviews/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-review
On there it has the best deals for the phone when click on the link get this

https://www.fonehouse.co.uk/mobile-phone-deal deals/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-5g which is 256gb with unlimited everything for £64 a month and £19 for phone not £30 so it's actually better deal than I'm getting with EE

I have not had an email saying its been picked or anything just the person I spoke to on the phone told me it had been picked. He didn't want to say I would get it for weekend other than there is a chance

If its Samsung trade-in then the stuff comes in the box with the new phone. Set of packing and posting instructions, postage sticker, blue metallic adhesive bag for postage. Etc.
You get a choice of the free postage with insurance up to £100 or you can choose to pay at the post office for extra cover. I did the latter, and a few days later got a confirmation email from Samsung that they had received it. So far so good.
I've just got to wait for them to process the trade-in and confirm by email.

Yeah I usually had the packaging with the upgrade program but this time there is just a 48hr Royal mail sticker with no instructions or blue bag. On one piece of paper it says follow the instructions included which are not there.

I'll probably phone them later to send me some more.

EE have messaged me to say my device is covered by their lifetime warranty which sounds reasonable and £10 off premium cases, screen protectors etc. Welcome to. EE essential plan but no date for my phone to arrive other than I know it was picked yesterday

Just got a txt saying post office we have your parcel please follow https//delivery-support parcel.com to avoid I quickly closed the message as I think it flashed red and presumed its a scam. I don't fall for them but in this instance I'm waiting for a phone to arrive not sure if I'm meant to take any actions as I opened the txt but closed it quicker than I could read it

Thank you. I opened the txt but quickly closed it do I need to notify my network provider or anything? Wasn't sure if they can get my details or anything because I opened a txt
As I say I never open things like these it's just because I am awaiting something and for that split second I was naive
