**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S23 Family Thread ****

I went with Vodafone too and getting comparable data speeds as I was on EE.

The green on this is such an epic finish and colour in hand its a nicer pick than the black imo.

The S23 Ultra really does feel like a worthy upgrade to my last flagship phone which I have had for 4 years. To be fair, I can see why it feels and reviews like the leader amongst equals at the moment.

It is purposeful in size and since I prefer a flip case (went for an OCASE off Amazon) decently bulky overall but certainly nothing ungainly.
Hey,

Thanks for the deal posted last month, looks cracking compared to what you can get direct from the manufacturer.

Looking at the trade in £150 "any condition" T&Cs it does talk about non-damaged screens, must work, quote forms and estimated pricingetc. But the headlines of the offer say your old phone, any condition for £150. What did you experience when trading in? I'm wondering as I have an old Mate 20 with cracked screen, would hate to have to get it fixed beforehand, but could do the screen for £50.

Also, if you have a mobile contract, for example with 3 and you're coming up to renewal. Could you grab one of these new deals and port your number over?

When you get to the detailed trade-in selections after entering the purchase details there is an option for any android phone any condition. You deffo get £150 minimum.

I sent my trade in back, got notification of receipt the day received and money was in my bank by 4pm that day.

Really slick process overall.

I ported my number from EE. You can do it all through the Vodafone app if you have the PAC. Was straightforward and done on the day I selected.

Brilliant thanks for that. I couldn't get that far as I haven't bought one and got an IMEI number.

On the topic of porting my number I was wondering if you can port from same network to same network. E.g. on Three, contact expires soon, had number for many years. Upgrade deals are crap so could I just order a new contract with the S23 Ultra via AO mobiles and remain my numbers still.

Can't use Vodafone as they don't do the 512gb version. Although maybe I could stick with the 256gb, I mean three and voda will merge anyway.

If you're on Three, just port to Giffgaff or similar as an interim then back to Three.

Evening,

thought it was about time I'd join the S23 party , traded in my 512GB S21 Ultra for a 256GB S23 Ultra and really liking the phone with the snapdragon processor , not yet tested the camera

What screen protectors do you recommend , the S23 doesn't come with one fitted , my S21 did however

No need for kens protectors, it's mostly scratch proof anyway like the screen. I don't use any protectors of any kind. My Ultra is still like new.

Hi all
im toying with idea to swap from Pixel 5 to Galaxy S23. Theres nothing wrong with Pixel 5 except the display colours are dull and the call volume isnt high enough. Could anyone tell me if the call volume is higher on S23 and if the S23 is easy to use the menu like Pixel 5. Thank you
