ive bought 5 different batteries from all over, all last the same as the orginal which for me is a max of 2 hours screen on time:(

I'm planning to update today, still on 4.2.2! Asked about it on here weeks ago and never got round to updating! With new Echo out today, that or Stock 5.0.1? :eek:
 
Echoe v51 for me.. I have been using Echoe (updating to just about every release) and its been great most of the time; there has been a few version I have reverted from, but in general its been great.. V51 is running flawlessly.
 
I think my phone is trying to kill itself today!! For some reason downloaded 5gb form Google play music (Not used it in weeks) to eat all my data on the 5th day of the contract month, getting really hot and then crapping itself at the smallest task and won't even send SMS messages!

The firmware change has to happen tonight I think!!
 
Having some major issues with mine tonight. Was about to go to bed and set my alarm but was being a bit crap so I restarted it...and now it just restarts...and restarts...and restarts...

I tried clearing the cache. Didn't work.

Tried entering into safe mode. It just restarted.

It was quite hot so I'm letting it cool down now, but if another cache wipe and rest don't sort it I may need to do a factory re-store much to my dismay because I've not back it up! :mad:
 
Finally restored last night, a friend was round and prompted me into going with the latest Cyanogen mod, all seems good so far, just getting what I want on, avoiding most of the stuff I had on before and just trying to keep it minimalistic as far as I can, although, I am missing the Samsung lock screen witht he 5-6 icons on for quick launches, any good lock screens out there that are customisable with a good few icons but don't eat RAM?
 
Anyone had issues with their phone not charging? Left it plugged in last night to find it had not charged at all. The port seems clean and I have tried multiple cables and chargers. I do have a third party zero lemon battery so I am hoping its that but I don't have access to another battery at the mo.
 
mines also been getting hot and the battery life is pants. tried 5 different batteries and now gone for zero lemon ones to try.
 
Not sounding good Gavin!

I'm going to have to try EchoeRom already, Cyanogen was great for 24 hours, now won't connect to WiFi and popping up some "bluetooth sharing has stopped" error every 2 minutes, doing my nut in.
 
Put EchoeV51 on last night, seems nice so far, I am sad having to go back to a Samsung based ROM after being on a pure Android one, but it just wasn't working out with Cyanogen, way too much issues & errors all over the place.

Lets hope this is more stable!

Mines doing this a lot now. looses signal and goes into airplane mode and i have to dismantle it to cool it down
