UK Pricing

Now, the pricing of the latest Galaxy S smartphone in UK has been revealed by an online listing and the smartphone will cost you £529 (about $800) for the 16 GB SIM-free model.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy S4 is available for free from T-Mobile, Orange, O2 and Vodafone on £31 per month plan and needless to say, a two year contract.

US, Canada and Sweden getting Snapdragon 600 based Galaxy S4

Benchmarks point to great SunSpider performance – 822ms vs. 1124ms for the HTC One and 1336ms for the Sony Xperia Z. AnTuTu scores indicated a relatively modest increase in overall performance of about 30% for a score of 21,089 vs. 22,678 for the HTC One and 20,794 for the Xperia Z.

Does AnTuTu test GFX performance too? "40%" performance increase in the Andreno they say? PowerVRs (at least in Apple devices) usually seem to beat or on occasion destroy their Andreno counterparts.

Didn't realise that you could create gifs with the camera app

Currently just using fotodanz for that.

Any idea if they have slow motion recording? My favourite feature of the sense camera app and unfortunately there are no apps on the market that do the same thing :(

The note ii has it but the gs 3 doesn't for some reason

Me paying t-mobile £10.50 a month for 2 years contract with Samsung Galaxy S2, it including unlimited texts, unlimited mobile internet and 3GB data allowance with 100 minutes free calls (I don't need that cos I am hard of hearing on both ears since birth) and if I keep the tariff plan in 2014 and pay one off simfree £529 plus 24 x £10.50 = £252 total after 2 years would be £781. Or free phone upgrade and pay 24 x £31.00 = £744 total after 2 years.

So, I don't know what to do ?

Depends if you want to spend £529 in a go or spread the cost not much difference in price TBH

I had my heart set on the XZ, but all the comments on the screen are starting to get to me. Is the S IV going to be so much better I won't be bothered by touchwiz and plastic?
