I prefer the pouch option as it gives you somewhere to rest your phone and protects it while your pocket/bag. The downside is the phone is slippery so if you have butter fingers you are likely to drop it at some point.

You can't really have a slim case as the camera sticks out quite a bit.

Thanks. Looks like I'll be cancelling tomorrow and visiting Samsung direct! Bit of a ballache but it's my own fault for forgetting about the benefits of CPW in the first place.
 
The Sony has better detail. The ISOC does better low light. Ugh.

Ive sold my phone so will only have to pay an extra £130 to get this, but cant decide which colour to get..

Sapphire black or Topaz blue :p
 
EE upgrade now cancelled. Thanks for the heads up re: computrace Space Monkey. I'll pop into CPW tomorrow and grab a 'proper' handset. It was funny that I mentioned CPW when asking to cancel the upgrade (you get 14 days in law to change your mind), the retentions agent was full of 'Oh I shouldn't say this but they're bad liars, you should stick with us'. I mentioned the word 'copmputrace' and she literally went silent on the spot and said 'Your upgrade has been cancelled and you have been refunded. Thanks.' :o

All of this talk of the camera on these has got me thinking. What are the best setting to use on this phone? HDR on or off? Full resolution images? and do I go for 1080p30 with video stabilisation or go for 1080p60?
 
What's the best prices/places for simfree/unlocked brand new black 64gb S6 or black 64gb S6 edge.

I tried eBay but not having much luck, the best prices have oddities when I look at the descriptions things like AT&T no hotspot etc

Is it Amazon.de still?

I use 1080p30 with stabilisation for everyday video and either 1080p60 or 4k for special videos depending what it is.
 
It's incredibly wobbly. There is an issue with Samsung's Software, not the actual hardware. The hardware does a fine job itself without this turned on.

Have a look on Clove. S6 around £600, Edge £700.

Clove are selling the 64GB standard version for £610, but have no stock and are unsure when any will be received. They also charge shipping on top taking the total to £616 and their price is not guaranteed. The upside is that they will sell UK stock whereas several other vendors are selling EU stock - I believe that the EU version has the same 24 month warranty, but not a UK adapter although a UK plug converter is usually included.

Samsung have today reduced the price of the 64GB standard phone on their website to £640. If you use Quidco, you should get 3% discount if it tracks correctly. They have the black version in stock and postage is free of charge. That effectively makes the price £621.
