Someone mentioned that Samsung used 2 different camera sensors, 1 is ISOCELL the other is a Sony IMX.
I ended up returning my first handset. The panel had a band across the top which, depending on your eyes/viewpoint, was either a pink/brown tinge or a patch of 'less bright' pixels on a white background. CPW swapped it no issues, but they mis-sold me the EE upgrade as they said it had 4GEE Extra (double speed 4G) when it didn't.
A quick call to EE and they've upgraded me to:
£79.99 up front (to CPW)
Unlimited calls & texts
10GB double speed 4G
Euro Talk & Text
£38/month
Not arguing. The replacement handset from CPW is perfect thankfully.
Please save me reading 40 mansize pages, as 'search this thread' isn't being very helpful. What case can I grab that's going to offer good drop/knock protection without encasing the handset in concrete? The Spigen Tough Armor looks decent protection wise, but surrounding that nice handset in thick polycarbonate? Not sure if want. Is the crystal clear skin with 1.2mm lip any good? Any other recommendations? I'm not as concerned about price as protection, within reason.

The Ringke SLIM Black and Spigen Liquid Crystal are my two cases of choice at the moment. Both very slim, improve the grip and seem to offer decent protection while not distracting too much from the look of the phone. Both about £5 too
IMO no it's a rip off. They all do much the same. Just get one you like the look of that has good reviews.

That means you need to be looking at £32 per month contracts with a free handset to be comparable in terms of total cost?
Does anything exist for the £30 per month mark with 1GB data and say 500 mins?

Quite nice... and normally I don't like cases, but this one feels pretty good. Still prefer using a bare phone though... only I'm worried about scratching that rear glass badly... although it's survived its first week OK.

My only niggles with this device were just solved. I'll have to wait a little though as my ROM version is the only one not supported yet. Has anyone else noticed that on the home button you have to click it dead centre for it to register? If I click slightly to one side the button audibly clicks but nothing happens on-screen. I can click two or three times (purposefully) to one side and nothing, but as soon as I click dead-centre it responds instantly lol
