*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Obliq Ultra Slim Fit is a nice case but adds bulk to protect the camera.

I quite like the orzly flexislim case as it adds minimum bulk to the phone and offers good grip.

Depends what you want really.

I had a quick look at them...both seem like good options :)

The flexislim really is interesting as it seems add practically no bulk but of course at the lack of protection as a result, will need to have a think over the week.

I haven't got close to deciding yet. Very complicated. A case shop where you could try them all would be awesome.

I can recommend the following clear case:

I also have this one, which I love (though it offers less protection to the top and bottom of the phone).

Both have a raised lip around the camera to protect it. And both offer better grip (compared to no case).

Am I right in saying that my rooted S6 (via PingPong method) will be unable to receive any OTA updates without first re-flashing back to a stock / un-rooted phone

A couple of quick questions.

1) Is there a totally stock android lollipop rom for the phone, Basically make it a nexus phone in terms of how stock it is ?

2) Is the stock android clock widget available ?

Running the most up to date official Samsung build.

Really liking the Flexislim case, almost feels like you have no case which is perfect and it offers well needed extra grip and looks pretty good.

But as you said it offers very little protection from drops and leaves the camera exposed.

Fantastic, I've had the phone 2 weeks in an official S view flip case and it's scratched the hell out of the screen. I thought itwas only the clear view case affected by this issue?

My god I don't know how Samsung are successful it's complete amateur hour in pretty much everything to do with this brand.

Do Handtec deal in grey imports or will Samsung honour the warranty if bought through them?

Seen reports of this with almost every Samsung flip case over the last 3 years, one of the reasons I would never use one.

Post some images of the damage. :D

It's an official Samsung product so you should be covered.

It'll be grit/sand getting between the case and the screen rather than the case itself so I doubt that the warranty will cover it.

That's possible, not always the case but it can easily happen.

You get similar stories from users who clean their new phones with old microfibre cloths and scratch their phones due to debris on the cloth.

It's 2 weeks old.... My Z3 was naked for a year and nothing like this. If fact in was pretty much spotless bar the chip in the corner from when I dropped it.

It's got loads of micro scratches where the window on the case is and nowhere else weirdly, they only stand out under artificial light.
