Got some a few years ago, theres very little real world application I found and got bored of them pretty quick.
When I was on W7 I used one for WOL, sat one by my front door and swiped it as I walked in, by the time I got upstairs PC was up and working.
From what I read, the back is glued down.
Was actually surprisingly easy. Got an official back from the bay for £25 and got a heat gun for £20 to do it.
Took around 20 minutes to do.
Got my S6 edge on Friday and I am very impressed with it ... the battery is shocking but I have wifi chargers all over the place including one in my car so I don't think it will be to much of an issue.
As for versions mine is on 5.0.2 and does not think it has an update waiting ....
Battery certainly shouldn't be shocking. My standard s6 has impressed me with the battery life but then that was coming from an s4 that struggled to last the day. Depends what you're using to gauge it against really.
