*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Some pretty shocking SoT going here. Can upload mine if people need authentication :p But just got passed 4 hours SoT, over 28hour period.
 
Does anyone use their phone with fb messenger and get good SoT, Im pretty sure I should be getting more than 2 and half hours

Also do you leave 4G on or is it wifi only?
 
I use both messenger and Facebook. I don't leave my phone on 4G. 3G only. I don't need 4G. But yes you should be getting more than two and a half hours tbh.
 
Gf dropped her S6 yesterday and the back glass is all shattered :(

Time to see how easy it is to replace it! Luckily it wasn't the front and from what I've seen the back is a bit easier to replace!

That's cool cheers mate. Thinking of putting a tag in my room to switch wifi access points when I'm upstairs...
 
Got my S6 edge on Friday and I am very impressed with it ... the battery is shocking but I have wifi chargers all over the place including one in my car so I don't think it will be to much of an issue.

As for versions mine is on 5.0.2 and does not think it has an update waiting ....

Battery certainly shouldn't be shocking. My standard s6 has impressed me with the battery life but then that was coming from an s4 that struggled to last the day. Depends what you're using to gauge it against really.

I have come from an S5 and in the short time I have had the phone and I am still in play mode so using it more than what would be normal for me I am not disappointed at all in fact I am very happy with the phone the screen is fantastic and the build quality is amazing. the only thing I was worried about was the wireless charging as I had this on my S5 and had 4 charging plates and did wonder for a split second if they had changed the system but I can report they have not and the charging plates I have work just fine.
 
Conflicting reports but it looks like the US update addresses battery life and our update addresses the memory management.

Makes no sense, but that's what people are saying. :confused:
