Just had a 230mb update. The description was very brief. Not a clue what it was for? French handset here.

Test out the multitasking and tell us if the memory management has been fixed.

Killing apps in the multi tasker reduces ram usage. Just tested it.

Xef but not btu handsets, which is typical as I picked btu over Xef when I flashed me device with odin.

To be fair we could just as easily flash to XEF with Odin

Or is it not as simple as that.

Involves a wipe and I cba with doing that again. I've done it loads trying to fix battery issues and getting my screen fixed.

I've also noticed, after playing around with apps and stuff for a bit.. That pressing the home button also makes the ram usage drop to around 66%. So closing apps in the multi task windows reduces ram usage, as does using the home button.

Me and the missus got an S6 Edge a few weeks ago, camera is excellent, screen a little ott with ppi.

Battery life ok up to now, 20 min charge each day and all is fine. Lets see in 18 months time ! :rolleyes:

Aesthetically very nice phone but a B`stard to fix so got both insured!

I am not sure if the 5.1.1 that I got yesterday on my simfree Edge is the normal 5.1.1 or the updated 5.1.1
Anyone know?

that is 5.1.1 mate

update to 5.1.1 is 230Mb in size

I had the original 5.1.1 update of 647mb. Then had a follow up update yesterday of 230mb

Can you guys with the latest 5.1.1 check what your build version says.
The chaps on XDA say that BOGB is the latest 5.1.1 so I am abit confused.
