Mine is arriving tomorrow, finally. :D

Amazon really got on my wick though, why do they advertise this sunday delivery bs when it barely seems to apply to anywhere? Surely there should be something on their site that sees your post code and tells you if its an option or not?
 
Hi any help please just got the s6 edge plus and the screen seem's dull next my to iphone 6 plus not very bright at all i have the brightness turned all the way up any ideas please
 
Been on the fence about ordering for a while but finally decided to go for an edge in green. Really like the colour and the look of the edge but was initially put off by the fact its Samsung ha. Had a bit of a go with the girlfriend's regular S6 and decided its not actually too bad :p

Would prefer stock (coming from a Nexus 4) but the improved camera, screen and size should more than make up for that. Fingers crossed it'll be here tomorrow or Wednesday. In the meantime, anyone rooted theirs?

I installed play services 8.1 thanks to the link you provided, but still had 15% drain overnight in 7 hours.
I think I'll do a cache wipe today and see if that makes any difference.
What ROM are you on btw? I'm on the BOG8 one. Did you get your update automatically?

I uninstalled the original Play Services first, then installed the new one. The new update came through when I got the phone to check.

Thanks, sorry to be a PITA, but would you mind checking the build (last 4 characters in the build number in the "about" section). Mine is BOG8.
 
The incompetence of Amazon really is amazing.

First of all i order the gold version of the phone with 9 "in stock" at the time, seems to be dispatched then after a day or so i get an email telling me stock was delayed..apparently they weren't in stock at all and the tracker is just feeding me crap.

Then i order the black version of the phone, it gets dispatched saturday for "guaranteed sunday delivery". Does it arrive? Nope but the amazon tracker is convinced its out for delivery on sunday, dpd doesn't agree. Get in touch with amazon who helpfully inform me that sunday delivery wasn't available..so why give me the bloody option? But they're going to contact dpd and get them to deliver it on monday. Monday comes and goes no phone, the dpd tracker says the phone is still in Hinckley and hasn't budged since Sunday.

So contact amazon again today who tell me that its out for delivery, it seems at this point using either the amazon or dpd tracker is pointless as they don't say anything about it being out for delivery. Doubting it will arrive at this point anyway, possibly tomorrow. So thats sunday, monday and tuesday all missed after ordering an item with a "guaranteed" sunday delivery. Incredible amazon. :rolleyes: But on the plus side the did add £3.00 to my account as a good will gesture.....:confused:
