So I'm gonna be upgrading from an S4 to an S7 but unsure of whether to get the edge or not. What pros / cons are there to each would you aside from the battery (which i guess is offset by the larger screen?).

I noticed the Samsung Pro Microsd card in some of the marketing bumf. I can't see much about it, any reason to go pro over the evo cards that are quite reasonable?

That Russian early review says the battery consumption is 1.5-3x better than the S6. Given they achieved 10hrs screen on time in one screenshot I'm betting this is largely down to the new Exynos and AMOLED panel at work here rather than just capacity being boosted. It's certainly not Doze since the screen was on for 10hrs.
It only £70 extra for the edge..

So the Samsung upgrade program.... how often can you upgrade? Anyone know?
Also really like the look of the Gear 360, although I do find flat 360 video's a little dull after 3D 360 videos...

I think I prefer LG's VR approach to the headset, no need to slap the phone into the headset means a much sleeker device attached to your eyes and better quality optics to boot no doubt.
Just a shame the G5 isn't IPX rated else I'd have gone with them I guess, although would need to know more about battery life. LG seem quite quick with major Android updates now too.

Stuck my pre-order in at CPW - Getting the Edge in black with a samsung clear view cover case. Wireless charger also incoming from elsewhere.
Should be an upgrade but I do still like my moto G (3rd gen) solid phone.

Sitting on an iPhone 6 and in the Apple ecosystem since the iPhone 3, I must say that I'm sorely tempted by the S7 Edge. Looks like a really great device.

I like this video. shows much more than any other so far. Like the fact that there's very little genuine bloat. What is bundled appears to be useful apps (MS Office etc).
And finally the drop down quick toggles area has been revamped to be more minimal and slicker. No more bright toy colours like on previous phones! means once a suitable stock-like theme is applied to the rest and Nova installed, it will look even better still.

Can't find anywhere selling the new wireless fast charging dock... The S6/S6 Edge Qi fast charging base is only £20, so will pick one of those up for work and get the S7 standing one for home. Unless they both employ the same charging rate in which case I'm happy to just get 2x base variants.

Oh its a non Samsung wireless base, could not find the official one so I got a elephas stand pad model
