I only get that message after I've rebooted the phone

Thats when you should get it.. However I get it every now and then, without rebooting..

A quick search tells me Im not the only one, however no proper fix for it yet, as far as I can see.

Soooo, time for a new phone. Had the Z3 for a while, LOVED it. But now with work forcing an iPhone onto me, I've stopped using it (Z3).

It's come time to upgrade and ideally, I only want one phone, so dual sim is an absolute must. I've done a tonne of googling and looking around and I think the S7 is my next phone.

I have a couple of questions...

1) Under normal usage, so I'd say I check messages once an hour, use the phone 3 times a day for 30 mins sessions. And maybe an hour at home. What sort of time am I looking at for 100% - 0%? The Z3 excelled here and I could go a weekend without a single charge!

2) Are there any current main gripes with the phone? Any issues with performance? Any common woes people having?

3) Is it worth waiting for something bigger and greater (can't see anything upcoming...).

Thanks!

100-0% with minimal use, easily 2 days if you go for the Edge with the bigger battery. No issues with the phone, Samsung got it so right when they made it. :)

This is the best i have managed so far a few weeks ago..

Do you have any special work software installed that enforces a stricter unlock policy? e.g Good for Enterprise email?

Hmmm, I'm not sold on the edge, seems like a gimmick to me. Is it worth it?

That screenshot shows you charged the phone in the middle of the cycle.

The edge screen is nothing special really, but the extra battery life is worth it imho

Looks matter to me, and the looks of the screen on the edge look silly though?

If you have a Samsung shop near you check them out, too me the Edge just look so much better, the S7 is a nice phone but next too the Edge it looks kinda boring and plain.

The Edge does look gorgeous but the S7 still looks OK. Edge is cumbersome to use IMO.

I'd Wait for the Note if you want a big screen.

I know its impossible to say for sure as there are so many factors, but I think you'd likely get a couple of days out of it with your usage, that's pretty much what I get.

I was pretty impressed with the below that I got over a long weekend when I was home most of the time (so not my normal usage), if I hadn't recharged it when I did it could have gone on to 3 days.

It happens with my 6P when I've kept touching the sensor while it's in my pocket, so I'm guessing it's registering lot of fake fingerprints (or perhaps the pattern of denim/cloth?) and forcing you to enter the pin.

IPhone does it too. It's not a fault, it's designed like that.

No, its a brand new phone, only installed a few apps.. The thing is, it works some time, other times I need to enter the code.. Others have complained about this with the latest firmware, so perhaps its a bug (that they will hopefully fix soon).

If only.. Its can be sat on my desk, then require me to enter the code "due to security policy".. Well, I cant find such policy, and I certainly didnt specify it.. and why does it only happen every now and then?

Going for the gold instead of the black. Really hope I don't regret it. I just don't like the greyish look on the black. Makes the screen stand out awkwardly.
