You need to give it a few days, Doze has been reset, optimisations all need to re-learn your usage pattern again. There is no way to gauge battery life in less than a few days.

If I turn wifi calling on, the volte symbol dissappears and the wif calling on shows.

I get VoLTE with WiFi off and WiFi calling with WiFi on.

Yup. Checked it just before going to bed around midnight last night and got the update. Not really had chance to play with it yet, mind. Looking forward to it.
 
Really liking Samsung's implantation of Android 7.0, they've done a great job especially considering its a beta.

The screen resolution scaling doesn't quite work with all applications though but I guess it's application specific and out of Samsung's control. I find if I change from 1440p to 1080p, elements of my Nova desktop become stretched out of proportion. Mainly the permanent Google search bar and Zooper widgets.

Another big I think I've discovered is accessibility services defaulting to off when you reboot the device. I use LastPass to auto fill my passwords into apps and it uses a accessibility service to detect login fields within apps to do this. However, when I reboot, this service is turned off and I have to re-enable it. Can anyone confirm they have the same issue?
 
I downloaded the Odin version from XDA but then decided I can't be bothered to set up all my apps again, so I think I'll just wait for the OTA update now.
 
Got the beta this morning and am very pleased with the improvements from what I've seen so far.

AOD is now working nicely, so far have been able to tap notifications displayed on it to open SMS, Twitter and GMail.

Same here, only had my phone a 3 weeks and have it setup just the way I want. Don't want to start over.

For anyone using Spotify on 7.0, does the icon remain notification bar or does it still disappear randomly?
 
Has anyone here upgraded to the S7 Edge from a S6?
My reception with O2 on my S6 is terrible, I am buying out of my contract to get a newer phone and its really a choice of the LG G5 Or the S7 edge. I really want the S7 edge but im worried about the reception problems again....
My wife has a J5 Samsung. She is also with O2. If I sit both phones together, her Db rating is always about 20 lower than mine and I have the better phone!

A friend of mine went thru 2 G5's awful build quality large gaps on both where the battery module goes

As for reception I went from a Note 3 to Note 7 then S7E and reception better on latter phones(vodafone)

Wife is on O2 and tried here sim and I got slightly better reception on the sammys vs her Sony Z5 tho it wasn't great on either in our area recently :(
