**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

I've had few glitches with his new update

1. It keeps randomly putting screen brightness to the lowest (its set to manual) which pain as can hardly see the settings

2. app.phone has crashed twice

Not seen it mentioned but I had an update on my non-Nougat S7 flat this morning. Not sure what was in it apart from the November security update.
 
I'd buy it for £40 if I didn't have one. They are fantastic to behold the first time and the few times after. They do become a little dull and limiting after a while but still great fun can be had. It's worth it for those certain types of VR films you can find.
 
Got rejected for a credit check anyway. :/

No idea why, experian etc is max. I make a very good wage.

Good deal too, £32 and included spotify and EU roaming.
 
Just curious if anyone knows if the battery drain issues from chome is fixed? (The ine with media server draining the battery) i noticed the issue a while ago and best result was just to just stop using chrome, looking to switch back again but im not sure if the bug has been fixed
 
So finally got it ordered,

Not bad I think £32 + spotify (which I pay for normally) 10GB data, 2GB EU (which will be used massively, and save me a lot, unl calls and texts + EU.

Oh plus £60 quidco :D

So is it worth getting a cover for the screen, and the back? IF so any suggestions?

And what wireless charger?

I get it every now and then.. I usually clear the cache for Chrome and do a reboot.. until it happens next time (every month or so).

screen protector and case def for me.
 
Did you get an edge or non edge?

There's no real decent glass screen protectors for the edge for obvious reasons, your best going with a ultimate shield or the like.

For the non edge, il let owners recommend some as I don't own one
 
very ****** off, my third S7 Edge has got a crack right down the edge, the phone hasnt left my pocket has a case on and a screen protector wtf. Im insured but cant even be bothered as its not interfering with anything yet, I wont be getting an Edged screen again disaster.

edit: must have been the zip on my pocket that cracked the edge... must be made of chocolate.

Last sat my s7 edge has display faulty like flicking with green background so my bank agreed to exchange replacement phone via mobile insurance then got it today that was quick easy via online then that done...
