**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Did you get an edge or non edge?

There's no real decent glass screen protectors for the edge for obvious reasons, your best going with a ultimate shield or the like.

For the non edge, il let owners recommend some as I don't own one

Non-edge. I drop phones too often to trust myself with an Edge, as good as it looks.

I have upgraded my s7 edge to nougat.
Now my official samsung case doesn't change screen to clock when closing, or when I open case home screen displayed ?
Is this related to nougat upgrade ?
Anyone else seen this problem ?

When using the Samsung browser, when you are typing, why does it move down the screen? It's really irritating, don't want to move back to chrome as the stock browser is much faster.

You need to give feedback to Samsung by using the app, It's the whole nature of beta. Expect bugs :)

Got my Spigen Touch Armour case as recommended on here.

Its quite chunky, as expected, but I prefer the feel of the phone with it on and it definitely helps with accidental edge presses which was one of my main bugbears with the S7 Edge... and it definitely feels like it would survive some serious abuse. It looks good now but it'll be interesting to see how it looks in a few months.

Incidentally, my other half got the standard S7 yesterday and I have to admit I'd be much more tempted to go for that over the Edge if I were buying for myself now, as it feels much nicer in the hand and easier to handle, and the difference in screen size is not really worth worrying about IMO.

I might be wrong, Quick Charge is a Qualcomm feature. The UK S7s use the Exynos chipset.

They still use QuickCharge 2.0, doesn't matter what chipset it has.

For wireless fast charging, the Qi charger has to output 10W, the linked one does not do that by the looks of it. 10W chargers require a QC2.0 charger connected in order to output 10W, otherwise they fallback to 5W or 7.5W.

No sorry its not QC (I don't think).

It just sits on my desk at home via USB, It is pretty fast though, but I haven't measured it.

If I need a fast charger then I use the one that came with the phone. :)
