Updated and did a factory reset. Now deciding if I should put Nova launcher back on or give Touchwiz a try. Also having a read of Microsoft Arrow launcher which looks good.

Anyone else find the "Hiya" app worse than the old Whitepages? It used to be seamlessly integrated with the dialler but now you have to go into a separate app. Also it has an annoying notification icon which makes it look like you're still on a call.

How do I know if mine is an XEU?

I did *#1234# in the dialler and it was there under CSC.

You can also see the CSC code in the Phone Info app, along with lots of other stuff.

Mine has no reference to BTU or XEU when I do this.

If you do what Atari says in the dialer, if you look under CSC on the next screen that appears, it may (or may not) contain the letters XEU - mine says G935FXEU1BPK2

Looks like I have to wait even longer...

PLN is still the beta version (same as my s7edge)
If you reboot the phone, you'll get the beta notification again

No update for mine yet - unlocked XEU. Downloaded the Nougat BTU firmware to flash with Odin so might go down that route come the weekend.

Any issues with Nougat and S7 now that it's been out a day or so anyone?

Nope, phone is running awesome, doze working great, no battery drain, 5-6 hours SoT average.

Good times!

I did not wipe the phone either, but if anyone does have any issues might be worth a factory wipe first.

If this is isn't reason enough for an IPX rated phone I don't know what is.

Work colleague accidentally knocked something over above my desk and it created a chain reaction of events that resulted in the beans I was eating being struck by a falling monitor, getting airborn and landing on my watch and phone which were sat on the mouse mat.

Naturally I was able to wash both items under the tap and all is well.

I am never having beans at work again.

Crisps are a far safer snack
