I have just ordered my Samsung S7 Edge from Samsung direct. Have had to email them to confirm I am getting the free Gear VR as there was no ******* mention of it when ordering. *looks skyward*

All that differs is the battery and screen size. Go for the Edge if you can handle the size, it's hardly any bigger.

Damn this display is amazing, much brighter then the Note 5 (855 cd/m2 which is overkill), special screen brightness that makes its adapt much better, can be used with polarized sunglasses, Adobe RGB on a phone, super dim mode (2 cd/m2).

Of course it's not, less pixel density so even more pixelated, but surprised to hear it leaks light.

So what does this mean, VR is still good, just not as good as the non Edge model?
Just get the Sandisk 128GB card for £62 on Amazon. The newer Extreme version of the card with 200MB/s+ read speeds aren't going to make a jiffy difference to you being able to manage media in a noticeably faster fashion over the Ultra version. 4K recording also doesn't require the higher speed model either. Save your money and get a sizeable Ultra card.
