**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Just pre-ordered this phone (edge), been waiting for a while for the next batch of phone and am not waiting any longer, my xperia T is on its last legs and it was betwee the G5 and the S7/edge - the gear vr and it being out in march instead of april help sway my decision, first samsung phone I've owned so lets see how it goes

Marques is the best.

Agreed...love his videos and the way he covers new phones, he's fantastic at it.

Nice quick look, his comprehensive review will no doubt be great.

That's a guy in my work signed up for an S7 to replace his Z2 after me banging on about the S7 all week!

Just pulled the trigger on a black s7 edge.

Thanks to those who pointed out the cash back deals, I singed up for one just there so I get to claim to the mrs I am thinking about the pennies.......... With the purchase of my new £600 phone........ #manmaths

It's more expensive than the 64gb iPhone 6s though?

i guess you'd have to compare the flat screen s7 to the iphone 6s. the edge is more comparable to the 6s+

edit: upon looking at the iphone, i cant believe how large the bezel's are. maybe its just a bad picture.

I'm guessing the Aukey QuickCharge 2.0 mains adapter will be fine with the Samsung Fast Wireless charging base? The Aukey outputs the 9V rail at 2A current whereas the Samsung base says the 9V input for 1.67A.

I'll be using this base at work of course and the standing base when it arrives at home with the stock S7 mains adapter.

Yup I already have Aukey QC2. 0 charger blocks for home and travel as well as one in the car lighter socket for fast charging. Should be good then.
