**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

I thought they all had fast wireless charging, not just the S6E+ and Note 5 hence why I just referred to them as "S6/Edge/Note 5" - The Edge+ wirelessly charges to full in 2 hrs or a little more. posts online suggest the S7 charges to full in 90 minutes. This would make sense since the S7 supports the new 15watts wireless charging standard which the S6 Edge Plus does not.

That's what I was on about.

Lets put this to rest until a review does a proper test with both S6E+ and S7 on the same fast charge pad.

At the end of the day pads are rated the same are they not?

Cool - I have http://www.spigen.co.uk/cell-phone/...axy-s7-edge-case-neo-hybrid.html#.VtNq3iiLTIU ordered, doesnt look like the thickest of cases so I should be fine?

I've just got the S7 edge pre-ordered and am considering picking up a wireless charger, just because lol
It should charge - buy just maybe not as fast. You'll find out soon enough.

Whatever may end up being the case, I'll have both new and old wireless chargers to compare with, so will be able to see for myself if there is any difference at all to justify the price hike. Reviews only tell half the story, prefer seeing results for myself on a phone fully loaded with apps and accounts synching.

People who are with Vodafone, what have your experiences been like?

I was with them years ago and they were generally pretty crap, as well as not having the best coverage. I'm currently with Three and very happy, but Vodafone's deals are by far the best that I've seen so far...

Sensible me would wait for Three's prices to drop, but irrational impatient me wants the S7 now!

Vodafone is improving its network all the time. By the end of 2016 I believe it will match EE for 4G coverage and indoors it should be better as a much larger amount of the network will be based on low frequency spectrum.

The issue is that the S6 really was quite a poor phone for reception. I hope the S7 has improved things.

Samsung have always had terrible signal (radio) compared to most other manufacturers - will indeed be interesting to see if that changes with the S7.

If the edge looks weird when watching media I might just get the S7. Either way though I've decided too wait for a price drop that should come in 1/2 months.

Are Samsung normally quick at processing orders? Just checked my status order and it says not yet processed, must be because it was done over the weekend.

Mines the same and I ordered on the 22nd. Ordered the old fast charge pad that lies flat from the bay. Not spending £80 on the new one.

It will be shown as processed with stock arrives and is dispatched to you.

That price from Mobilefun/Handec is a ripoff. I've seen pre-orders on the continent going for around £50 and expect to get one for less after launch.

Just pulled thew trigger on the S7 edge through vodafone using quidco.

£29 upfront. 10gb data. Unlimited mins + text. £50pm - 20% gives me a monthly total of £40.

plus free VR Headset and i've ordered a wireless charger for £32.

One question regarding quidco. deal stated
Earn
£75
cashback
Pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for £50 a month, with £29 upfront and get the Gear VR included + £90 cashback.

so will i receive £75 or £90 or £165?

slightly confused :/
