i keep checking my amazon.de account in the hope that my order has changed from pre-order status, to preparing to dispatch.. :( no such luck yet. longest wait for a phone, ever.

Painful isn't it! I ordered on mobilephonesdirect last week and soon after got an email saying my order had been deferred to the carrier (Vodafone) for approval and it hasn't updated since. I'm hoping it's just coz the phone isn't out yet and so there isn't a rush to get it approved. I have an excellent credit rating so it's definitely not that....

Ordered a black S7 :) looking forward to this as a big upgrade to my S4 :)

Now on to the case's like the Genuine Leather Samsung leather cover (not flip) but it's not available yet :( will most likely have to go to the spigen site and order something from there ..

Is everyone who is buying Sim-free buying direct from Samsung ?

nope. amazon germany is where i'm getting mine, as they take the vat off for where i live. thankfully.
 
has anyone used PayPal Credit before? at Samsung i ordered the s7 edge via PayPal Credit 24 month 14.9% on 21 february. how long for the first statement to come?

Doesn't it say in your paypal account online? Didn't you check this stuff before signing up?

it didn't say anything about the date and in the paypal account it just says the price £639. minimum payment due £0.00. it doesn't say anything about the statement date

also the Credit Agreement doesn't say anything about the date

Then have you contacted them directly to ask?
 
Cancelling my CPW preorder was a bit of a strange experience. I was put through to someone from the web team who took my details and after a while said she would have to do a manual refund. I gave my credit card number etc and she said it would take 3-5 days. OK fine, I thought, but an hour later some other guy rang me saying that the first person wasn't authorised to do refunds and could he take all my details again!

I said firstly why did someone who isn't authorised ask for my credit card number, and also why don't you just get the details off her rather than ringing me again. He muttered something like "sorry to bother you" and hung up! i still haven't had an email confirming they have cancelled it :mad:

Such a shame stupid people like that ruin a companies image. Hope it gets sorted.
 
CPW won't email you saying it's been cancelled. When I cancelled mine due to CPW being incompetent and clueless, I too was told an email would come. It did not.

Don't buy from CPW is all I can say. they are useless.
