Out of interest if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for your contract to be able to get a free upgrade such as the latest flagship?

I am on a £50ish contract discounted down to £43.50ish and all the 'upgrades' I am offered now it is nearly up for renewal are all pretty rubbish, as for something like a modern new phone (GS7, iP7 etc) they all have a hefty upfront cost and an increase in monthlies / drop in package (as I lose the discount)
 
I got my last few through mobilephonesdirect, one before this edge was an iPhone 6 plus 128gb, free phone too when they were retailing for £899 sim free.
I pay £50 for EE with 20gb, the current offer on the IP7 is £50 a month, 20gb, free phone and £192 cash back.

That fingerprint scanner placement will be a total nightmare:

- you are going to constantly smudge the camera lens by trying to place your finger on that tiny area
- it looks a very awkward placement, not just from being placed at the top of the phone but also on the left side of the device/camera lens
 
Sorry if I'm missing something obvious tatts, but how do you upgrade out of the contract at the 12 month point if it is a 24 month contract?
 
can you see volume buttons on that?
and the leak says*"activate Bixby by pressing a button on the side" what the hell? give us innovative technology like*curved edge display - still uses buttons?!?*1 step forward, 2 steps back?

"We removed the home button"
"But we gave you a*BIXBY BUTTON!"

Moto X Style has a 5.7" display and it hasn't a lot of bezel at the sides. I've largeish hands and it was always a stretch to use one handed. If the leak is correct and the smaller S8 is 5.8" then single handed use is going to be a pain.

Finger print scanner looks a strange placement (if leak is correct). Why there next to flash? Makes no sense. Won't bother me though as they never work for me so end up not bothering to use it.
 
Tbh. I don't know if it's me but that leaked picture ^^^ looks like it has micro USB. So, it could well be fake. As i don't think Samsung will use micro USB again for the new s8.

In fact I'm almost certain that it won't be micro USB. But I can't help but feel that "leaked" picture has it.

Edit: is it just me ? :p
