**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Thread ****

To the guys using Good Lock, more so around Lockstar ... Rather than just the icon for lets say WhatsApp, is it possible to get the "detailed/brief" view back? I know this can be done on the stock UI so I can see a small preview on WhatsApp and Ggmail, but now on LockStar I don't see that option?

It's fine but Gboard is still my fav.

Did not know they had this service. It's £80 for the whole job and will be done at my workplace in under an hour.

It would have cost me that in fuel and labour dropping it into a Samsung service centre anyway!

I'll post a full charge battery life screenshot with both old and new batteries tomorrow. I've been neglecting good battery charge cycle patterns the past year really (had phone since launch) and let it get to 0% too often which kills cell health. The new battery will be given a much better life going forwards as I'm intending to keep it another year now.
 
Looked at using Samsung Repair myself when I broke the screen, it was only an extra £20 on top of the price at the shop but that £20 would have been well worth it not only to save on fuel and parking in the city centre but the hassle of driving in and out alone was worth it. However, my insurance company at the time would only pay for work carried out in the Samsung store and not the mobile stuff, was rather annoyed.
 
That's annoying, even Samsung will uphold the warranty as the work is done by Samsung approved technicians in a proper lab environment in the van!

I'm 100% sure that from the gallery you could share to Snapchat. I don't appear to have that option anymore.
Sure it happened after one update.

Yup still a solid phone. Not really anything out there worth upgrading to yet, at least nothing that is smaller than 6" screen. Maybe the gs 11 or pixel 4 when it arrives.

I just use stock Samsung camera app.
