I'm going to wait and see what one plus come up with next - the oneplus three was a brilliant phone and was half the price of the s7 Edge.
Probably because you'd used the gear vr once. Why no free Gear VR in the UK. I was going to order as due an upgrade soon from Vodafone but now might just go for the LG G6 as it will likely be a bit cheaper.
Unless this drops to 500 quid in the future i will not be buying.
I refuse to be ripped off.
Yeah my S6 has a crap battery and the home button is playing up so i'm definitely looking to upgrade. If i had an S7 i wouldn't bother.I am debating on upgrading this from a s6 edge, depends if i can get a good deal with 02. I think if you have a s7 it probably not worth it
You know back when a Samsung bod was quoted saying the S7 Nougat update would be Android 7.1? Well now I know why we only got 7.0.
They were fast tracking the S8, couldn’t bring the Synaptics under-screen FP sensor, nor Android 7.1 to the S8, so naturally it would be a bad business decision to release the latest version of Android for last year’s phone and not be able to have it on the S8, considering the performance difference appear to be very small between the two, and having the exact same rear cameras…
I won't expect 7.1 for the S8 any time soon after release, and then they have to release it for the S7, which is even further away.
And guess what, Oreo is due out Q3 this year anyway, there's no hope of Android O on the S7 this year at all at this rate. Let alone the S8.
The LG G6 already comes with 7.1, and will likely get O shortly after anyway, as will Sony devices whether it's via concept program or stable channels.
We live in sad times indeed.
I would assume they're included in the box in general.Do you only get the AKG earphones if you preorder?
No, they are in the box.Do you only get the AKG earphones if you preorder?
Will the Exynos actually perform worse though? It's a bit rubbish the US customers get the SD835 and we get the Exynos processor. Why do phone manufacturers think it's OK to give us lesser specs than US folk get?
No idea. But I'd rather we had the SD835. LG pulled a similar trick with the G6 and HTC have done this sort of thing beforeWill the Exynos actually perform worse though?
