**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Thread ****

Quite suprised but my s8 order from cpw is delivered tomorrow to my parents and I'll collect on the way home. Only ordered on the 15th so was expecting not too get it it later despite them saying I would. Only issue the case I've ordered hasn't been dispatched

That's reasonable but a new customer can get the same 3 contract, for £44 a month with a free S8, with cashback! In this case the handset comes in at around the £650 mark.

I'm holding out atm but only just... :/

The Gear S3 is definitely the best option available right now for Samsung phones. However, it doesn't run Android Wear but rather Tizen (Samsungs own). So if you're looking for a watch with a lot of features then it's great since it's basically a mini phone. But with android wear, it's quicker and easier to navigate through menus.

Depends on your preference of ease and speed or features. The screen on the GS3 is amazing though! I love it, but it's a big watch at 49mm
 
So my Samsung direct order is now saying shipped, but no tracking number or anything from Ukmail. The only way to cancel with carphone warehouse will be over the phone? Or will live chat be able to do that? Sorry for all my posts rambling.

So far I'm loving the s8+

The finger print reader is hard to use for me but I'm sure muscle memory will sort that out and I'm not a fan of how when your on a call the speaker causes the phone to vibrate. Other than that I love it.

Out of interest, where did you order yours? Since you seem to be the only one here with it today :D

Also... not trying to point out a potential problem and make you notice it lol, but have you seen the news stories about the red tint? You got it?

Snap! my Samsung Direct order status is showing shipped, fingers crossed we get something later this evening.
 
Anyone recommend a decent case and screen protector.i quite like the look of the spigen cases but wouldn't mind some protection for the screen incase I drop it.i see loads of tempered glass protectors on the bay but they are all probably useless

Was that sim only on an advanced plan or essential?

Cpw

No tint issue here. I've also seen another 5 s8 in person and none had the red tint issue.
