Well done. I've always admired your screenshots and movies and this shows what quality they are.

My availability for this week:-

Mon - Yes
Tues - Possibly
Weds - Non
Thurs - Yes - Can do a late one
Friday - Away from FSX :eek:

I'd like to get that VFR Flight I planned in, either on VATSIM or Gamespy and happy to do whatever else in the other times.
 
Did a flight yesterday from LFPG(Paris-Charles de Gaulle) to EGLC (London City). LFPG wasn’t on but LFFF_Ctrl(think it was that) was and he controls all of Northern France. So he did my departure and guided me right up until the English channel. Lon_Ctrl was online, so contacted them once I hit the STAR for London City. I was only about 30nm when Lon_Ctrl contacted me and was informed that he is going offline. :( A real pity as I wanted him to guide me straight into LC. Not the best of landings, the ILS chart is a bit confusing. :confused: I thought you had to be 3000ft to catch glideslope, in fact you should 2000ft. Anyway it was a good flight. Vatsim was very busy last night, a lot of Radar coverage.:)

Weekend – on and off as normal.

Yes I’m up to do your flight. I would also like more practise more with approach and landing in terms of contacting TWR/Appr and guiding me in.

Oh yes that free airport 1S2 it only works with the Orbex PNW scenery.
 
In yesterday's earlier flight, Chaders and me took our Lancairs from EGFF to EGSP, Sibson Airport near Peterborough on VATSIM.

Cardiff Radar was online and set us on our way. If Gloucester Approach had been online we would have requested a zone transit SouthWest to NorthEast. We were below Class A at Birmingham and swooped by Wittering before my unintentional 3 point landing at Sibson.

We had low cloud cover, so I barely kept VFR.

It was a very enjoyable flight.

After we spoke I flew from London City to Paris CDG had to deliver some Monkeys :o(I’ve signed up with FedEx Virtual which is great. I used to love playing Air Hauler from Just Flight. This is better and you don’t have to fly online(I do and connect to Vatsim).

LFFF was online again so once I reached his airspace he guided me down to Paris but as it was getting close to 11pm. He went off line so had to switch back to 122.80 and landed fine. All monkeys delivered fine, just for the record.:p

I’m around tonight from 7.30/8 up for anything.

Charders can we go through the Jetstream FMC and take of procedures please? I’ve sorted the engine start now :rolleyes: but not got my head around anything else? Doesn’t have to be tonight, any time really...thanks

IFR Edinburgh or Glasgow to Cardiff or Bristol in a heavy with everyone reporting a 'missed approach' :D

Talking about EGLC... I've just put a post up on Aivlasoft website, as I'm having a nightmare trying assigned the new runways 09/27. I've done everything according to the notes and it still comes up with 10/28 :mad:
 
I've got EGLC as part of the VFR airports pack which sorted this issue out. I still think I'm missing 09 ILS though... Let's hope the wind direction doesn't get me to use that.
 
V, no probs with the jet stream just give me a couple of days to do some revision of its FMC.

I'm up for anything tonight. What ever you guys fancy. I'll get on around 1930 to give us time to get set up.
 
Took a few screenshots, using PMDG737, REX, UTX+GEX and UK2000 Heathrow. Still not happy with it, but it's pushing my pretty old PC now. I wish I could get it close to what Soya and Lukeharvest have it looking like, my PC would never cope though.

There's nowt wrong with those screenshots, deko. Impressive.

Chadders, Vuvuzela and me took our 737NGs from Edinburgh to the windy Leeds Bradford on VATSIM. We had the fastest speaking tower controller ever. Edinburgh Radar was online and Scottish Control had disappeared by the time we left the zone.

My landing at Leeds was short of the runway. :eek: I was too busy talking to the others, that I hadn't planned my decent or land, so 'winged' it. I should have declared a missed approach and gone around.

Another enjoyable flight.
 
yes very good shots...

Joined a little later than planned but managed to depart Edinburgh(controller was gone by then) was cruising along nicely and then trouble! My Lnav and Vnav lights disengaged plus the autopilot. I also lost my route and had nothing in my Legs page, very strange :confused:

Luckily I had Chaders on hand, he got me to add some waypoints in the FMC and guided me down to Leeds/B. Unfortunately I came in too high so aborted landing and flew back around again at the correct height. More issues though as it wouldn’t pick up the LOC. :mad: Managed to land fine but not sure why all the issues last night..:(

I did another flight from Paris to Dublin. Everything going well and about 15min out of Dublin, FSX crashed.

So overall not a great night but always fun flying online with Blue and Chaders.

Hopefully tonight will be better, talking about tonight. I will be on but it will be closer to 9.
 
I couldn't get 'app' to engage for landing, but I'll know to better plan for next time.

I can't join in tonight, but should be available tomorrow for a later finishing time.

Come on you other posters, join in with us.
 
Nice shots deko - wouldn't complain about those at all.

Really need to get online again soon. I'm about to get sacked by my VA if I don't get some hours logged soon!
