russ0r, the only one I can say is a "must" is the NL2000v4 scenery. It's free so if you have the HDD space and the hardware to get the textures loading fast enough, it's definately a must. It's worth getting REX2.0 as well. Definately cool stuff. After that, get a decent payware plane suited to your style of flying (if you like the complex models, captain sim are a good place to start and are nice on the eyes too).
Heres a short video of the Aerosoft Airbus X landing at YBCS (Cairns International), Just doesnt get any better than ORBX and Aerosoft Airbus (until the PMDG 737 lol).

I was wondering if anyone has installed FSX on SSD? Any performance increases?
Definately. Not in fps, but in scenery loading it helps a lot (provided you have the cpu grunt).
Hi all, Does anyone have any feedback yet about running FSX on a Sandy Bridge system. About to order this week, when the new fault free motherboards arrive in stock!!!

What is all this Track IR stuff I hear all the time? I'm under the assumption it pans the camera as you move your head, but how does one go about getting one set up? What equipment do you need etc?
