After the zip file is downloaded, extract and copy the three files (d3d9.dll, enbpalatte.bmp and enbseries.ini) in the FSX main folder (same place where fsx.exe is located).

To enable/disable it in sim you have to press F12 or Shift+F12 - I cannot remember which right now.

I cannot test it right now as my FSX drive died a few days ago and I'm waiting until payday to get a new SSD.

I have just taken a look at the installer. Make a new folder on the desktop. Direct the installer to install into this new folder. Once done it should have created two folders:

SimObjects
Sound

Copy these two folders into your main FSX directory and overwrite if required and it should then work. Make a backup of the folders before copying them over just incase you want to revert back to the original 737.

Currently nearing completion of a flight from 30AZ (Gila Compression Station Airport) to P04 (Bisbee Municipal Airport. Bit of crosswind but nothing drastic. That storm cloud has passed luckily and looks clear from here on. Glad i gave this game another try, loving it to bits.

Very nice screenshots Michael, the 2nd one is really atmospheric.

I bit the very large bullet and bought FTX Global. Currently downloading the 4.43GB file and will then download the freeware airport add-onsand get everything installed.

Is anyone using DX10 with fixer ? Or using DX9

Excellent screenshots!
The last couple of months I have been using DX10 with Steve's Fixer in FSX:SE as it gives better VAS management and I can use scenery like Aerosoft Heathrow Xtended with AI, high scenery settings and complex aircraft.

Now I have buyers remorse for paying £51 for FTX Global Base after being torn between the two for a week. FTX Global does look better in the screenshots though.

Just installed REX4 with soft clouds for £13

But isn't FTX Global about ground textures and Rex 4 is about clouds, water etc?

Yes REX is weather and airports textures and FTX Global is ground textures.

Hi Dappo, I tried doing this but it keeps just changing view to top down view when I press Shift F12.... anyt thoughts?

Is this DX9 only?

Yes, ENB series is for DX9 only.

However, if you want to use DX10 you can use SweetFX and use a set like this:
