** The Official Space Flight Thread - The Space Station and Beyond **

Exciting week, Blue Origin launching New Glenn today and SpaceX IFT-7 potentially on Wednesday.

Frustratingly if the current T-minus dosnt change, I'm going to have to leave for work just before launch and I can afford to run late today... :(

Yeah missed that launch as well, only noticed it just as the stream ended. Think we are still on for IFT-7 tonight approx 2200utc.

I watched the New Glen this morning and the on board video and telemetry were pants but what it shows me is how utterly spoiled we've been by Starship and Falcon 9 launches with multiple cameras and high bandwidth Starlink comms.

Looking forward to Starship this evening I've found the whole development super interesting.

Should compare them to Virgin Orbit - they were horrific in comparison!

Was an extremely impressive first launch for BO even if they lost the first stage; hopefully they'll share some info on that.
Some great photos around too...

SpaceX had the same with their early 'televised' launches, so i imagine BO will offer better onboard footage over time and probably do something similar in using Project Kuiper for better comms.
